Hi Dave,
Midnight Romp - Daytime Fun. That is just awesome. A leap back in time, but sounding as freshky as can be. Like your guitar abilities a LOT (said that before), and Andy sure knows how to blow that thing, too.
Toe-tapping, head-nodding, finger-snapping, ear-wiggling, butt-shaking stuff - LOVED IT SO MUCH !!!!
All the best,
Stefan

Hi Dave,
While listening to your song, I imagined me sitting in that old brown pub, almost empty, and me only with my beer... And then this music starts playing. I shove my feet under the table, take a big sip and relaxed. But with a smile, that wasn't there before. Got the picture? That's what this song did to me.
So very nicely done. I enjoyed it, although Valentines Way is still unbeaten!

Big Fun! I'm not the "tone expert", but the licks were fluid and purposeful. Really enjoyed the back-and-forth between guitar and sax. He can sure play, and his spoken intro set this for me. Much enjoyed. Yeah, I love that intro too. Wasn't expecting the vocal track, I thought he was just going to send me a sax track. I'll have to see if he is still around, been many years since I last talked to him. Happy you enjoyed this! Very cool tune Dave. Guitar was just awesome. Sax and guitar playing back and forth to each other was just awesome. Well done. Thanks, Scott!

THAT is cool stuff.
Juking groove. Nice, lovely clean tone. Very well put together and my only nit if there is one is that the drums, especially in the fill, need to be louder.

Professional sounding production. The bits of spoken vocal worked well - wished for more. Enjoyed the listen. Thanks, Mark! It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!!!
Wow!
Two guys that know their stuff having fun and we are all the better for it!
Cookin'!
As they say in S Georgia...stronger than a garlic milkshake!
Love every thing about it.
J&B Hi Bud and Janice, I listened to lots of swing when I was young, my dad was a big fan. Some of it rubbed off on me I guess I'm happy you liked this one!

Loved it !!. Thanks, Beatmaster! Hi Dave,
That is a true brilliant piece of music! I was sitting here, sipping on a glass of red wine and accidentally pushed the glass out of pure excitement while listening to your tune. What a mess I made on the table... but listening to your music while cleaning made life much better for me!

Stefan I thought you might like this one, and always great to get feedback from a fellow guitarist. Thanks, Stefan! Hi Dave,

Hans Thanks, Hans! Well, I'm sure we will do more Rock Ballads in the future. Next one up is a blues/rock tune though, just waiting for Chris to get back from her vacation. THAT is cool stuff.
Juking groove. Nice, lovely clean tone. Very well put together and my only nit if there is one is that the drums, especially in the fill, need to be louder. Appreciate the listen and comments, Herb! I think you are right about the drums. I bumped them up 2db and will revisit the mix again if I decide to do more with this song.

Hi Dave,
This is an incredible listen! The music is lively, Andy's sax playing immediately captures the imagination, and your guitar work gleams! In addition, your production chops are superb. The clarity of each component of this mix is a real credit to you. The audio quality that I heard is the epitome of "first class production".
This song would be at home on any radio station or TV/film placement anywhere around the world.
You are certainly a master craftsman!
All the best, Noel

Dave, you play a mean axe! Your chops were outstanding as was your guitar tone; that Blue Cat's Re-Guitar plugin was a great find wasn't it! That sax guitar interplay was spot on, but that happens when two excellent musicians get together. Your mix was perfect.
A number of people remarked about this sounding like a song in the late 40s and 50s but to me it sounded like a Brian Setzer song.
Midnight Romp, I think that you should stay but late more often!
You two should be very proud of this.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
