Wow, never seen this. Clicked on a few pictures and was blown away by the talent. Reminds me more and more why I should not post any of my own music on the internet!!  There are so many talented folks out there.

I've used two vocalists (male) and one saxophone player. If interested, I'll post a link or two to the results at the end of this post. Given the weakness of my vocal "demo", I'd give high marks to both singers. One, in particular, wailed. A combo of vocal demo and sheet music (even if simplified) would probably have worked better. The sax player was asked to "interpret" the melody, but play certain phrases as demoed in the vocal melody. In addition, I gave him free reign to play what he liked. He did not disappoint. Still, he may have come closer to my "vision" if he had had charts to play with. Ultimately it depends on what you ask them to do. Turnarounds were fairly quick and communication decent. I've also used a guy to run midi through his more extensive and expensive libraries. He charged so little, I practically doubled it with tips. It was well worth it to keep from having to buy sounds and re-learn midi. I can recommend using that site as well. I have many friends who have used them with mostly good results. It has very much to do with good and clear communication. The better you are in describing what you want, the better results you will get.
Remember to read the comments to each artist before choosing though - such a site can attract scammers too.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
