Certain DAWs like Ableton Live and Samplitude Pro do not support the use of DX effects or DXI instruments. However, it is possible to use a plug-in wrapper to make the effects appear as a VST to those DAWs. The steps are given below:

1. Go to +++ https://www.xlutop.com/buzz/zip/ +++ https://www.xlutop.com/buzz/zip/

2. Download the zip file dxshell_v1.0.4b.zip

3. Extract it.

4. Copy the files dxshell.x64.dll and dxishell.64x.dll to the folder where Ableton Live or your DAW looks for VST plug-ins.

5. Make sure the DAW scans the location of the DX and DXI plug-ins.

If you've follow Peter Gannon's +++ SUGGESTION +++ and download Cakewalk by BandLab you'll gain use of the TTS-1 multi-timbrel midi sound module and the Sonitus suite of plug-in effects.
