I'm a small town boy, too. Beautiful and catchy melody. Nicely produced.

Hi Dan ...

I grew up in a small town (Troy, Missouri) until I was 8 years old. We then moved to suburban St. Louis ... across the river from Steve up above. My wife is from a tiny town in Tennessee. I once kidded her there was a major traffic jam downtown., She looked at me like I was from another planet. I explained to her that both cars got the intersection at the same time and neither one knew what to do.

Your song is really terrific ... loved everything about it. The mix, the vocal, the backing tracks ... everything. That was a real sweet listen ... thanks for the pleasure.

Alan

Loved it from the very first note.

Sensational vocal, perfect choice of style, and the harmonies are outstanding.

This is really, really great, and is definitely worthy of air play.

Sensational!

Hi Dan,

This is terrific listen. The music and lyrics are very easy to relate to and they carried me along on a comfortable and easy-on-the-ears musical journey.

You won me over by about bar 2!

It's definitely thumbs up from me!

All the best,
Noel

Toe tapping classic country beat with engaging lyrics (especially for those of us that can relate to small town America.) Chord progression and melody work well together. Enjoyed the listen.

firesong,

Upbeat and engaging from the first. Nice vocal with stellar supporting vocals—think in spots those vocals could come forward a bit . . . but nice feel throughout overall. But a really compelling hook and nice warm feel to the lyrics. Nice work on this one!

Kind regards,

Deej

Good singing and harmony. Tuneful and easy to listen to.

The song moves along like a train chugging down the tracks.

Smooth work on the piano - nice licks! smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Firesong, this is some really good work on display here! Your vocals are fabulous, especially the background vocal work! That Genos sounds great also! Great tune! Thanks, Torrey

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
