Hi Folks.
I fell out of the loop for some weeks now and did not have time participate / listen to many cool tunes that people posted in Showcase or even reply to feedback left to me. Recently, my baby daughter was born and my attention is mainly focused on family. Hopefully soon things will calm down a bit and I will have some time to dedicate to my hobbies.

This forum had been a source of inspiration for me and number one place for solving musical related issues. I know, that even if I do not get the exact answer I am looking for, people will genuinely try to offer help and solutions, without insulting or making fun of things that might seem too obvious to them.

Thank you all for keeping this place nice!

Misha.

Yes, things should calm down at some point. Some folks say this happens at 3 months and some say 6 months. My oldest is 360 months and things haven't calmed down yet but I hope they do soon! laugh

When you have a child folks tend to wonder what will change. Let me tell you from experience - EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE. cry

And regarding hobbies, forget about it. Hobbies come back when you retire. crazy

Congratulations new Mom and Dad!

Stevie Wonder released "Isn't She Lovely" as both a single and track on his 1976 Songs In The Key Of Life record album. The song celebrates the birth of his daughter. +++ HERE +++ are some interesting trivia tidbits about the song.

Congratulations to you Misha, your wife, & your family...
It looks like I’m not the only one who has been missing from here...
I’m having a heck of a time getting caught up with all the great songs...
Without getting totally confused!
I’m looking forward to hearing your progress on...
The Fan song...
But right now just enjoy your new daughter!

Hi Friends!

Thank you for your support and warm welcome! Who knows, maybe she will become a future BIAB user one day smile

MusicStudent: "And regarding hobbies, forget about it. Hobbies come back when you retire."

Ha ha! This is our second child, I am a seasoned papa smile Usually takes a month or two for adjustments then it becomes easier. I do plan start tinkering with music in a few weeks. You will not get rid of me that easy. Also, I feel that word "retirement" will most likely be excluded from vocabulary soon, so I have nothing to worry about.

P.S. Jim, glad to see you back! I did not forget about "The Fan" song smile
