Dear Will Josef...

I'm just as amazed as you are laugh !!!

I think there's more music in the hearts and souls of each one of us, than we know we have. And, that's what makes using Band-in-a-Box so-o-o-o cool, because it'll certainly tease that music out of you if you use it often enough.

And, you're right about 'bells' -- tubular bells, to be exact. I was elated when the idea to use them came to me!

Thank you for lending Floyd and me you ears!

Sincerely,

LOREN (a.k.a. 'bluage')

Hey, 'videotrack', how are you, sir ???

Yes, Tom Keenlyside's tenor sax solo really blew the roof off the song. Me, personally, I liked the cool, bluesy, and swingin' twang of the electric guitar solo by Jack Pearson the most.

Thank, as always, for being such a kind and complimentary listener, 'videotrack'.

Truly,

Hello, 'PeterF'...

I thought it was "a hell of a lot fun", too! Mr. Jane's vocal was a dream come true for me.

Thanks for the audition, 'PeterF' !!!

Dear 'ScottC'...

Hey, ain't nuthin' wrong with chair-dancin' ! The song itself was about dancin', after all smile.

"That fella singing the tune...", yeah, I thought he sounded kind'a familiar to me, too laugh !!!

I'm beginning to think that collaborations are more fun than solo posts...

Thanks, 'ScottC'.

Some nice choices and touches on the production as well—those wedding bells, and then the decision to up a half step on the last two verses, which resonate coming off the bridge. Excellent tune!

My best to you both,

Deej

Dear 'Deej56'...

Thank you for listening so closely to the song! The wedding bells were a happy inspiration, and the key change seemed almost inevitable because of how energetic the Real & MIDI tracks were. They definitely kicked the song up a coupl'a notches!

I'm grateful for your comments, 'Deej56'. My best to you, too!

Sincerely,

That!

Janice had to demo some country line dancing for me by dancing across the room smile Really!

This is a sophisticated "boot scootin'" tune with a great bass line and
a cool mixture of the country guitar and the rock boogie sax. Nice choice for sure.

Don't let mr jane fool you he's sung a little jazz (In The City) and a host of other genres.
And irrespective of the genre you're always gonna get a nailed vocal from him.

As already mentioned the operative word here is FUN!

As I think I told you in some past post, inspiring people to dance is the first thing I (usually) think of when I compose a song, or an instrumental piece. I mean, it's the way a body initially reacts upon hearing music. So, Mr. Janice, you go, girl !!!

Bud, thank you for lettin' me in on Floyd's sole jazz post, 'In The City'. I'm gonna find it and listen to it with the quickness! About when do you think he posted it?

Regardless, thank you for listening to the collab, and giving it a 'thumbs-up'!

Truly,

LOREN

Hello, 'Ezekial's Storm'...

Why, that's a great way to respond to the song! I mean, to read that it transported you to a place in your life in the past. I'm happy to have provided you with that time machine smile. And, yeah, Floyd sounds like he was at that dance himself!

Thanks for listening, sir!

Hi, Greg...

It's a collaboration with Floyd, who vocalized my lyrics set to my music.

I can't access it through my Windows XP-operated browser, either. Soon, I will transfer my songs to Soundcloud. Sorry you missed another one.

Sincerely,

LOREN

I enjoyed your toe-tapping collaboration... and the intro, revealing the songwriter to be almost as shy to approach the singer as the guy in the song to ask for that dance!

Robert nailed my sentiments exactly! It's a fun tune really well put together and hey, you can't go wrong with having Floyd's participation on a project!! Thanks, Torrey

Really well written and produced song all the way around. It was a lot of fun to listen to. I also have to say, it just sounds right. I like when you don't have to over think that because it's done so well. I really enjoyed it.

FJ, you don't sound out of your element. Great job as well.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
