Stefan, beatmaster and Robert:

Thank you so much :-) Glad you enjoyed this little attempt of mine at relaxation music!

Hahaha ... you've described Jacqueline du Pré to a tee ;-) Apparently, she hated her Strad cello so much that she once left it out in the rain. When she sadly passed away, it went to Yo-Yo Ma who loved it and said that the problem was that JDP would press way too hard into the string with it and therefore did not get the best out of it. JDP does have that "crazy" tendency about her to "go all in" when performing, complete with string pressure, fluctuation of tempi and way-over-the-top "passion", but that's why people love her :-) Yo-Yo Ma, for me, though ... soars. Just soars, especially when confronted with beautiful, long melodic lines ... :-)

May we all enjoy a lovely Christmas and a wonderfully creative New Year :-)
