When I set the time signature in Reaper to 3/4 and insert the plugin it will complain that the style has a different time signature. That's twofold a bit ..dull as I have neither loaded a style yet (it's just the default setting of 4/) and if the plugin notices a difference it could adjust itself accordingly. Especially if it's a common and supported signature of 3/4 (and not something fancy like 7/8).

They need another way of doing things so you can just set the time signature to whatever you like and not be limited by styles.
Record some tracks in different time signatures, if it's too hard getting Biab to do proper time signatures and proper tempo map then at least try and give these to the Plugin so it will follow the DAW and not Biab pseudo time signatures that don't sync with the DAW time signature.

I've changed the subject to reflect what I really meant: when the plugin is inserted it should pick up the time signature for supported time signatures: 4/4, 3/4 and also 6/8 and 12/8.
Sidnote: I'm unsure how 6/8 and 12/8 will work out as the "swing feel" associated with them in BiaB are missing.
Why do I want the initial time signature to be determined by the host? So that the style picker is already set to filter the correct time signature.

Thanks Masi! I agree with your points and I just responded to another one of your posts related to this. Like Pipeline mentioned, the plugin is limited to only displaying the time signature of the selected style (defaulting as 4/4 for the ZZJAZZ style). However there is no reason why it cannot default to a waltz style and be displayed as 3/4 when it is initially opened if the DAW is set to 3/4. I'll make sure this gets added to the next build. I appreciate all the great feedback!

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
