For the last 18 months or so, I have been journeying around Eastern Asian music on Youtube. As a consequence of these travels, I found myself recently watching "The Untamed" on Netflix.
[EDIT:I've just found out that it's also on Youtube.]
Without any exaggeration, "The Untamed" is an amazing drama. It is a mainland China creation and the actors and the production are outstanding. In addition to this, traditional-inspired Chinese music features throughout the series (mostly in the latter half). As an aside, I often found myself thinking about how I would create music like this with BIAB.
While it took me four or five episodes to settle into the Chinese way of story-telling as well as subtitles, at the end of it all, this is one of the best and most satisfying dramas I have seen. I ended up watching all 50 episodes (around 40 mins per episode) in just 3 days. I'll be watching it again for sure!
So... if you have a little time on your hands right now and are curious about Chinese story telling and traditonal Chinese music -- and you don't mind a really good, fantasy-based period drama --, I highly recommend "The Untamed" on Netflix.
(at the time of posting this, it's currently rated at 8.8 on IMDB)
Below is a music video of the show's main theme. The song is sung by Sean Xiao and Wang Yi Bo who play the main characters (clicking on CC will translate the song's lyrics)...

UPDATE: I've just discovered that all the episodes are on Youtube and they've been subbed into English. (I've modified the thread's subject as a result.)
The soundtrack from this show is awesome! You only have to watch episode 1 to get an idea of what's in store.
Here's the collection of episodes...
When I first saw this show advertised on Netflix, the thought of 50 episodes frightened me. After having finished the series, though, I could easily continue for another 50 episodes. It's SUCH good story telling and is a visual spectacular to watch.
It's still on Netflix in the original language (my viewing preference). Added to my list. Thanks for the heads-up!
Since you managed a 50-episode single season, you might want to give Netflix's Bolívar a try. It's a 60-episode single season (in Spanish). Fascinating bit of history.

Thank you! I've added it to My List. Netflix and I are very close friends.
I love watching things in Spanish. The language sits really comfortably on my ears even though I cannot understand it.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
