Am I the only person in the World that wants to use 1 chorus in a looper? I just need to be able to create a verse or chorus, with Realtracks, that will loop seamlessly without a gap at the end of each chorus. Technical support used to be very good for BIAB but now all they care about is sales..
What have you tried so far? Presumably you are using the loop feature, and have endings turned off? You didn't say what your setup is. This works for me, song loops without any break:
BIAB & RB2024 Win.(Audiophile), Sonar Platinum, Cakewalk by Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M Monitors, Pioneer Active Monitors, AKG K271 Studio H'phones
That should definitely work - a song with one chorus that loops seamlessly with no gap. As long as you disable the ending bars, as well as the count-in.
Hi Andrew, thank you for your reply, unfortunately that doesn't work. When I export the wav file and try to loop it in any media player, there is a gap. I have tried every possible setting, but can't believe that it isn't possible. I am having to save 2 choruses as a wav which I then have to import into Reaper or Audacity, find the point at where I can cut the wav into 2 parts, delete the 2nd half, and then the 1st half will then loop seamlessly. This is a very laborious hit & miss method, but it works, unlike the 1 chorus export from BIAB. I have many loops to make up, which will take a very long time unless I can find a solution, surely there must be one
Hi, thank you for this, but it isn't what I need. This loops in real time to play along to, whereas I need to export the wav so that it loops seamlessly in any media player or looping station.
I have consistently be able to record BIAB progressions directly into my Digitech JamMan Looper by using the 1/4" Aux Input line from the looper directly into my computer. I set up the looper to Auto Record, hit play in BIAB and then when I get to the end of the phrase/progression that I want, I hit Rec/Play on the looper on the following beat number 1 to create a loop. Sometimes it takes a few passes to get the timing right, but I've created many workable loops this way.
Until you figure out or are able to get the silent 4 beat count-in turned off from begin saved as silence at beginning of wav, and not sure that's an option right now (I never save files that way so I wouldn't know)
Making loops in Audacity is not hard - but you are right if you try to do that for more than few it would be tedious (welcome to the old way's - LOL)
or try this feature FOR NOW, again until you can figure out
Melody -> Generate Sound Track
and turn off fade-in and fade-out (first and last two seconds
I just generated a 4 bar loop - NO silence before or after in wav file

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
