I have high-end hearing loss from too many years in a paper mill with high ambient noise levels. Macho me refused to wear ear protection.

I must see my audiologist twice a year to remove wax that results from being mute. The ears are self-cleaning only IF we talk.

Rog, I'm glad that your ear loss was only temporary.

I'm also glad that you slid this one into the forum whistle

Super vocal and mix.

I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi Cap'n.
Many thanks for the listen and review.
Pleased that you liked it and yes, the Dylan thing has been mentioned before, which I'm very happy with.

Hi Gregg.
Always appreciate a review from you, many thanks.
Yes, I'm more than pleased that I can still detect 12k, but
it rolls off fast after 10k.
Your mixes are always top-notch, so I'm surprised you've only got 6k - it certainly
doesn't stop you producing first class work.
Anyway, glad you liked this one and thanks for looking in.
Cheers,
ROG

Nice job with the sax RT. Sounds custom made for the track. The piano sits perfectly. Cool guitars - as always.

Nice!

Sorry to hear about the hearing. Glad it's returning. Wishing you a FULL recovery!!

Hi Floyd,
Glad you liked it.
The sax RTs are just SO good and a lot easier to work with than
some of the sax players I've encountered over the years!
Don't you just love this program.
Thanks for the review and the kind words about my hearing problem.
Cheers,
ROG.

What a tune! Love the groove and upbeat nature of the song. Makes for a super fun and engaging listen. I can't help but imagine how great this would sound performed live.

Thanks for sharing smile

Hi Deryk,
I'd love to have a go at doing it live, if only I could find a horn section as
good as the RTs! Glad you enjoyed it and many thanks for the positive review.

Cheers, ROG.

Hi ROG,

The energy in the production is awesome! I was breathless by about bar 16. Your arrangement, your instrumentation, your singing all grab hold of the listener and I could feel myself being pulled up on the dance floor. It took a lot a will-power for me to stay seated!

You've done an incredible job with this.

I love that sax interlude! Your singing is brilliant!

All the best,
Noel

p.s. I hope your eardrums are ok now.

Hi Noel,
You know that I always value your opinion and I'm always grateful to get a review from you.
So glad you approved of this frivolous offering - sometimes I feel the need to do that!
You really are very kind with all the positive comments and they're all much appreciated.
Many thanks,
ROG.

Rog,
This almost escaped me smile Excellent work on harmony. Vocals have just the right amount of synth in them. Almost like a lost ELO track. Enjoyed it!
Thank you for sharing.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
