Nothing like a good ol' love song I found this really pleasant to listen to. The instrumentation is lush and atmospheric, and the poignant lyrics really bring it home for me. The tune is soaked in sincerity. Thanks for sharing!
Cheers, Deryk

A nice complex piece of writing. The chorus is especially nice and the production is impressive. Nice use of the flute and overall dynamics. Good work. Peter Thanks Peter, very rewarding to read your positive comment Glad you liked the chorus and flute. Janne

That is superb.
As others have said the imagery is terrific.
Your vocal carries the new version well and the flute sounds super.
And the mix sets up a nice soundstage on our monitors.
Enjoyed it!!

Love the progressions on this one. Nice melody. I agree with Rayc, your vocals tend to get lost in the chorus. Very nice song! Steve Thanks Steve for your positive words Janne

Hi Janne, Beautiful indeed. I particularly enjoyed the way the phrasing breathes and of course the singing flute. Very together overall. Cheers.

Hello Janne,
You made a lovely song with such nice lyrics! I wanted to underline a line of your lyrics that I especcially liked, but then read Jim already did that with the same line! In the melody the flute swirls so sweet through the song. Your singing is giving the song some extra vulnerability. That makes it extra nice. Good song, Janne!
Hans

The melody is lovely and the arrangement ( particularly liked the flute solos, seldom used for some reason) works well. In reference to the chorus vocals, I thought the choral effect tended to smother your lead a little... which is otherwise clear and warm, suiting the song`s positive mood. Robert Thanks Robert for your warm feedback I like the flute also, I really hope there will be more flute RTs in the future (and oboe, pipes, bagpipes etc. :)). You are probably right about the choral effect, the original mix was with a female voice, so I gave more room for lower parts, which now collide with my voice. Maybe I should eq choir tracks a little. Janne

Fantastic imagery! I'm glad that your poetry didn't get lost in the translation. I like your production. Beautifully done. Clever opening with the flute. It sets the mood for the imagery. Thanks for your very positive feedback It wasn't easy to translate, I had to rewrite the verse lyrics couple of times before I was satisfied… I still feel that the third verse is not yet perfect. Janne

Hi Janne ...
Talk about a full and captive sound! I loved this from start to end ... the flute intro was particularly nice. Also, excellent change in feel from verse to chorus ... blended perfectly. Loved it all the way. Best to you ...
Alan

J&B Thanks Janice and Bud, your support is always very welcome and heartwarming And thanks to BIAB for the flute, I had to generate it many times to get the melody that worked, but that was worth the effort.
