Rob

Nice moody piece, the guitar solos sounded very nice, and the vocals had some good effects.

An excellent write.

Wow - I really enjoyed this one. The vocals fit perfectly with the instrumentation, and it sets a really fantastic mood. I thought the slow groove on it worked really well.

Thanks for sharing smile

Rob,

A cool, moody piece.

The vocal effects work well. The BAND is really nice. I wondered what the soloist track was? - it's cool!

Good vocal. Good mix (though the drums seem to lean left a bit).

Really enjoyed that.

Rob,
this is one of your better & ,ore adventurous vocals.
The narrative is wells served by the arrangement - sparse and spooky.
What are the otehr elements - synth/strings & solo?
fabulous stuff.

Bob,

Evocative lyrics.

I like the drum intro. It's sparseness sets the haunting mood.

Great instrumentation choice. Fits the song like a glove.

Hi Rob ...

Time is my biggest enemy at this time, so my comments have been brief by necessity. Hope you don't mind.

Love the ethereal feel of this. And that intro was splendid. Totally enjoyed my listen ... a real treat.

In the few moments I have several times a week, I've been playing around with this same style, but am taking it in a much different direction. It will be an instrumental rather than a vocal. Really cool ... one of my favorites from you! Best to you ...

Alan

Very nice moody dark ballad. I enjoyed the minor chording. You have selected really fantastic style, baritone guitar and bass are really mournful, definitely murky smile The style fits excellently with your voice which has nice extra roughness at this time (and has interesting effects).

Wow, that is a strong production!

The ethereal mood is instantly captivating and
it perfectly fits the great vocal and lyric.

Almost spooky...yet not. Fascinating.

Nice use of the solo guitar also.

Excellent!

Rob,
I like this a LOT! Very unusual. Solo guitar is a bit hot at peaks, otherwise, this is one of the best tunes of yours that I have heard.
Thank you for sharing.

Misha said it first, but I'll say it as well: I like this a lot!

Nice singing, atmospheric mix, killer solos. The lyric fits the arrangement hand in glove.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Rob,

All the instruments in this song are well chosen. It was a pleasure to listen to it, the nice solo, the drums, the guitar.
And then your singing and the lyrics... Now that's some sad story that you sing here in a fantastic way!
But I needed to listen to 'Good company' after this one, to cheer me up again (that's a joke, Rob).

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
