Hi all. This is really just a nonsense song.
I don't do heavy so this song has been turned into heavy country bluegrass.
Sorry I don't have all the extra listed.(having issues with real band)

For the bass I duplicated the track and put a distortion on one track.
I have found this helps the bass from getting lost in the mix.
For the drums I used a studio one multi fx patch called the hugeness of drums.

As always comments welcome. Regards Rob4580

He Skinned A Grizzly Bear

There aint no reason and there sure aint no rhyme your daddy said I gotta get you home on time.
Up in the mountains just trying to survive he skinned grizzly bear while it was alive.

He skinned a grizzly bear ( Take it from the ice box cook it up for supper)
He Skinned A Grizzly Bear
He skinned a grizzly bear ( You know I love like no other )

Bridge

He skinned a grizzly bear ( You know I dont like it doesnt seem to be fare )
He Skinned A Grizzly Bear
He skinned a grizzly bear (You know I love like no other )

bridge

He skinned a grizzly bear ( You know I dont like it doesnt seem to be fare)
He Skinned A Grizzly Bear
He skinned a grizzly bear ( You know I love like no other )

My sweat is flowing and I'm feeling kinda weak I guess I'll
catch you up this time next week.

His hands are shaking and squints his evil eye
I'm sure he's planning to skin me alive.

This slow metal style is mighty! There are two 12-key distorted guitars, a bass, a drum loop,
and thrash RealDrums. The drum loop helps thicken up the drums by adding a steady rhythm.
The guitars are panned left and right, to give you a nice stereo image.
As well as the guitars both being 12-key, one of them is called “LowMan”,
which means its been detuned. This song is in the key of C#m, and has chord
changes every 1-8 beats. (Keep in mind I changed the key to G)

A little drive or distortion on a bass is always helpful as is a small, narrow peak at 3Khz.
Using the double is a good move becasue distortion can & will cut low end.
An easy alternative is to "send the bass signal to a new track that has that effect on it - then blend the two.
I enjoyed the song & the bass is perfect for it.
Great to hear you delving into BIAB's possibilities.

Combination of bluegrass and heavy rock works surprisingly well. Scary lyrics and the strong vocals make this fun and enjoyable listen. Don't know why but reminds me of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Rob,

Very original and creative mash-up—great production touches. The chorus is super catchy—ear worm territory. I thought the transitions from metal to the bluegrass were very smoothly done . . . on first listen, the transition from the third chorus to the second verse (bluegrass to metal at the 2:00 mark) seems a bit more abrupt . . . on second listen, less so . . . on the third, I thought maybe the transition is just too quick . . . on the fourth, it seemed to work just fine. So not sure, but offering it up for what little it is likely worth. Really strong tune all the way through!

Great listen!

All my best,

Deej

Really unique. The heavy band is perfection, and the mix is very good. Vocals and harmonies carry it well. I guess we've all been there and had similar feelings/experiences. This is a very creative telling of that tale. Much enjoyed.

A bit macabre in the lyric but a cool production for sure.

The mashup of styles works amazingly well.

As always your vocals and the mix are top notch.

Strange and cool!!!!
