I ran across +++ THIS +++ site that claims to have more than 9,000 public domain hymn sgu files available for download.

Jim, thank you. I am hired by a country church to direct a small orchestra for their special services. Though I have superb pro musicians, there is no music written for my odd instrumentation and I have to look for resources like these to write all the arrangements.

The idea behind the website is not all churches have great musical resources; especially small churches or churches just starting out. The website can be thought of as a backup or "plan B".
I'm glad people find the resource useful. Somebody put a lot of love, thought and effort into the website and content.

I agree. He made a convincing statement that he not only wanted to pull these public domain resources together, but keep it available after he finished with his effort.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
