Here's my latest. Actually I did it last year and hoped to make a vid for it, but it didn't happen. Vocals are by Stephane Comeau of fivrr. Thanks again, Stephane for another great job! https://soundcloud.com/user-770148857/paper-bagRealTracks in song: 1012:Bass, Electric, BluesRock Sw 140 1014:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm BluesRockCrispSync Sw 140 1586:Guitar, Electric, Soloist TexasBluesRockShuffleBrent Sw 130 RealDrums [in Song:BluesRockShuffle^1-a:Snare, HiHat , b:Snare, Open HiHat Lyrics: Every morning as the sun starts to rise, Mean world stares me straight in the eyes, Can't take it I gotta escape, I need some comfort from a pint of the grape, I know it's nothing that should make a man brag but, I drink my breakfast from a paper bag. The preacher said to me Boy what you doing? Your life is going from bad to ruin, The bottle is such a terrible foe, Do you know where your souls gonna go? Sorry reverend I know it's a drag but, I let it slip into this paper bag. I think you'd do well to use a little volume automation to soften some of the attack on many of the 1st lines of lines - the very 1st syllable is quite aggressive. Setting a faster compressor might be quicker. Cool song.

Very strong blues rock with bit sad but vivid message, excellent singer making the blues really roll. The raw sound of the band fits the mood. I like rhyming brag-snag-drag-bag.

I love the heavy feel of this - the instrumentation has a real riff-ladden sound.
Some great vocals by your singer. A great raw mix as well.
Loved it!

The blues...yeah man - in the lyric, in the vocal, in the RT choices and in the arrangement.
EVERYTHING is hittin' the note for us!
And a cool use of that RT solo.
Kudos!!

Good writing! Excellent vocal too, he did a good job for you.
Instrumentally the stripped down approach works I think. Another option would be to add a B3 at some point to fill things out a little.
Very good song, enjoyed.

Nice one. Your vocalist has great pipes. The band is extra fine and I wish I could get such coherent leads out of my attempts. Song is straight-ahead and well written ZZTopish. The mix seemed a little quiet for the genre at mid-volume. But who knows what soundcloud does. Much enjoyed.

TM,
Cool!
Excellent job of creating a 3-man Blues Rock BAND!!
Killer vocalist.
Like Tangmo, I thought the track was low - thought the drums needed to have more punch...but, they did when I turned up my speaker setting (which I don't normally touch) - then the band sounded good - and the vocal was a bit hot (as ray made reference to). Just small mix things - and not to detract from how good this is...it's killer. I loved it!

A great vocalist for the song, which has a familiar and irresistible riff! Love that guitar RT and the mix is very close ( similar feelings to Floyd about the drums needing more thump). Spoken ending is fun in a scary way.

Wow - what a tune! Loving the bluesy vibe on this, and the lyrics knock it out of the park too. Excellent work on the mix, and it's delightfully catchy as well. You should be proud of this one - thanks for sharing
Cheers, Deryk

Excellent rock blues in the ZZTop style. As already been said many times that is a great vocalist you have singing this.
FWIW - to nitpick I would have brought up the drums and brought up and added a little distortion on the bass. But that is just me.
This is a super song. Feel free to share more like this.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Tunemonger,
Really cool blues rock tune. Reminds me of George Thorogood, particularly when you get into the spoken word at the end. Like it!
All my best,
Deej
