I just downloaded the 32 bit version to give it a try.. Renamed it and put it my VST32 folder. Same again, not valid.. Then I was thinking, let me try the 64 then, just for fun, so I went to my 64 folder, but of course it did not work. So for another "fun" I was thinking, ok, let me try yet another 64 vst... So I tried, and guess what??? I loaded just fine !

Ah, ok I see now in the picture that I probably, by mistake, have put a bridged version in this folder. Usually I put those in a separated bridged folder, so my mistake...;)

Also tried to bridge the VSTSyntfont32, then this came up..

OMG.. That worked, at first.. I switched account, started BiaB64, loaded VSTSynthfont64, that was there already, probably because I yesterday replaced the old one with the new one in the BiaB default folder for VSTsynthfont64. So now it loaded with no problems. Then, I could load Kontakt as VST, imported a midifile, with piano, violin, cello and choir.. Minimized the VST window and hit play. It played and I could hear the piano and cello only, not the choir.. So when I opened the VST window to check what was going on, the whole window was almost just blank. I stopped the song, and changed the VST back to the Coyote player, then this happen; Næh, seems like the screenshot I took when in the guest account just vanished.. It's gone
Anyway, the end was when I loaded the coyote, the whole VST window just became an empty white window, and then BiaB crashed for me...

So is it still working when you restarted BB ? I had the issue it would not go back to default soundfont and kept playing the vst. But he is getting there just got to sort this registry problem out, I thought it may have something to do with the registration it prompts for if you use the vsti outside of BB.
Ok, now I am in again, using the guest account, started Biab32, loaded VSTsynthfont32 as default from my VST32 folder, as it did not show up as there already this time, and selected a more simple VST32instrument this time. Loaded a midifile with only 2 channels, flute and piano, and it all worked good. Could change VSTi, minimize and open the VST window several times with no issues.. So so far, so good. One strange thing was that the piano was on channel 2, but VSTSynthfont played it on channel 3, or actually 4, since 00 is 01 by default in VSTSynthfont, when BiaB send on 2...
So I am going to play more around with it today and see how much I can do with no further issues...
Will report back later today, if I can work on it undisturbed...;)

Yes.. Next test:.. Loaded a midifile with 7 channels, flute, violins, cello, harpsichord and contrabass. Loaded first one instance of Kontakt, flute.. on channel 1. Played the flute of kontakt, and the SF on the rest... Loaded 6 other instances of Kontakt for the other channels. Gave sound on the flute channel 1 only.. Tried to mute channel 1, but still gave sound there, not the others... But loaded all 7 instances of Kontakt without crashing...
Forgot that I had to set the channels on all instances. Did that, and VOILA ! Full good sound on all...;)
Saved this as Bank, and changed to Coyote again, played a little, changed it back to VSTSynthfont, loaded the bank, and all 7 Kontakt loaded, but empty.. I think he mentioned that earlier, that he was not yet able to fix that? So hopefully he will find a way to solve that soon.. Then all will be heaven on earth...

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
