Hi all,
Here's a french song about Lucifer !
Patrick Fournerat has written the lyrics and he sings.

https://soundcloud.com/christian-devienne/lucifer

Here's an approximate translation :

If you followed the path
That of the railway
You would run straight
One way to hell
It seems that it's not so bad
You should find your place there
In view of your background

Luci Luci Lucifer Luci Luci Lucifer

Your number is metaphysical
666 satanic year
It even seems that some are waiting for you
Some have dreamed of it for a long time
So don't disappoint them

Luci Luci Lucifer Luci Luci Lucifer

Following your path
Your deadly road
You left in a convoy
With your patibular band
Guardian angels of ancient times
Are there waiting for you now
You have to worry

Luci Luci Lucifer

Reading through the lyrics, I hear the voice of Ricky Ricardo: Luciiii! wink

The lead electric guitar is an interesting addition to the tune.

Nicely done - enjoyable listen.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Excellent song. Super vocal and backtrack. The guitar with the synth effect was cool

Nice work - the vocals are tremendous on this one. It flows effortless and is nicely catchy as well. As others said - the way you incorporated the electric guitar was refreshing to hear.

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers,
Deryk

Those are some dark, dark lyrics!

And they are sung very well with a great
melody and nice supporting tracks.

The choice of RT's, especially the guitar,
is excellent.

Well done!

Hahaha! Often the comments are as enjoyable as the songs. This song is strongly engaging, Chris. The French sounds intriguing, even mesmerizing, but thanks for the translation. The voice is the perfect instrument!

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hi Chris,

A cool, somewhat punchy song this Lucifer. A smoky voice and that double vocal work out very nice, especially in the chorus.
I was pleasantly surprised to hear that sologuitar. I used the same one in a recent song (all that talking) because of it's abstract sound.

I have listened several times to Lucifer and liked it even more the last time. The rhythm is very vivacious and the performance was swell!
And I already mentioned that beautiful voice...

Thanks David, Scott, Deryk, Janice, Bud, Marty and Hans.
I like too Patrick's voice. Particularly, during the chorus when he sings with the solo electric guitar. Christian

'Chris37' and Mr. Fournerat...

Well, gentlemen, this is something 'different', for sure mad !!!

The tone, the feel of the song seems to change from one group of measures to another, courtesy of what I perceived as some interesting and unusual chord progressions. At one moment, the song sounded foreboding and sinister, and yet, at another moment, just a spark of ruefully romantic feeling -- as one would experience waving a regretful goodbye to someone else -- flared-up like a dying streetlight and dispelled the darkness, but only temporarily.

Mr. Fournerat, I think your voice is absolutely charming with its seemingly weary, gravelly texture that at the same actually achieves a degree of what I would describe as a kind of 'bruised' warmth because of the care you obviously took in singing each word of the lyrics as though you were writing a letter to someone.

As I said, the lyrical matter is novel, but also there was a unique flavor in the music that made it memorable in an eerie way.

LOREN (a.k.a. 'bluage')

The lead guitar sounds like a voice box effect.
Interesting and works well as an infernal element within the song.. RnR as Satan's tool!
The cello counter melody work REALLY well.
A little essing to address but cool stuff.

Cheers

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
