Latin Danza
This one was done with the BIAB VST plugin running in Studio One.
https://soundcloud.com/ray_legnini/latin-danza

There are lots of drum and percussion parts coming and going. Some are Apple Loops, one of which helped with the song title. I'm playing all the guitar parts.

The are multiple Jeff Lorber RealTracks from the most recent releases used:
3337 Electric Piano
3338 Synth Analog Soloist
RealDrums are LoungeFunkPerc.
And 3404 Bass Electric LoungeFunkAlex is the bass player.

The synth solos were split into multiple sections with Melodyne so I could re-voice the synth part and use a Prophet 5 sound on some phrases (with some added mod and pitch wheel).

Hi Ray, is that you on the lead guitar? Anyway, fantastic production an sound. Just an observation; in some instances when the solo is going on some of the backing instruments could benefit being a little more upfront, on my cans anyway. other than that I loved it.

Very cool track!

I would have mixed the keyboard up a bit, more so in the comping than the solo, but up.

Hi Ray ...

Good to "meet" you! This is the first time I've heard one of your songs ... and it was a real treat! Latin Jazz is one of my favorite genres and you totally killed it ... great stuff!

I agree with Matt about bringing the keys up a tad.

I like your touch on the guitar. And the percussions rock, This is a totally cool song!

Wishing you the best ... and be safe.

Alan

A fun listen, Ray. Man, that guitar sounds sweet. Quite a lot in the production, and it all fits so well. Really good work on this. Thanks for the backstory, too.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Great funky track! I really enjoy the rhythm and the loops/percussions. Very good selection of new BIAB instruments, how come I have ignored those.
