Great stuff, thanks for posting this! I've been watching their online concert and really enjoying it. It was nice to see a shoutout to Canada.
It's great to see people entertaining and enriching each other through virtual platforms these days. A couple of my friends just started a Facebook concert series too, and even though we don't get to hang out these days, they really don't seem so far. Big ups to all the musicians taking time to share their craft with the world right now.

David,
My parents were from New Brunswick so I exercise poetic license frequently in my humor and comments but I still love Canada and Canadians immensely.
I don't recognize your name. Are you new, fresh meat?
You are among the best customer service crew on the planet.
Keep Callie and Cat in line for me. They are wonderful to me.

Gemma is working up an original fiddle tune that I wrote for her using BIAB. But looking at the stack of requests ahead of me it may be weeks before they get to it.

Alan and Gemma are personal friends of mine. I've known them for years and they're a really lovely and talented couple. Gemma can play any instrument ever made and play it well. They've been playing a lot of my own compositions over the last few weeks, and It's cheered me up no end. They do a live show nightly usually 90 minutes weekdays and 3 hours at the weekends. They play different tunes every night and can play anything style of music they're asked for. They have a huge following throughout the UK, and apart from being astonishing musicians, they're fabulously funny too. Drop in and say hello, tell them where you're from and they'll give you a mention. If you're feeling down , watch that duo, they'll lift your spirits instantly. It's wonderful to see two great players giving up their time to cheer up others.

Graham,
Thank you so much for introducing me to this fabulous duo. I've been watching ever since and have started a wonderful friendship with Gemma who loves my music. I have done two BIAB tunes for her and I am very anxious to hear her renderings. I'm confident that they will be beautifully interpreted.
During a lull in yesterday's concert, a neighbor lady popped her head in my door to ask: Where's the beautiful Polka music, Donny?" I'm known as "The Music Man" in my nursing home. lol
I certainly agree that they have made quarantine much more tolerable.
( Just noticed the Charge Nurse dancing along the hall to the music absolutely uninhabited. )

Graham,
Absolutely no argument there. They are simply marvelous!
I play them quite loudly and heard a nurse ask my neighbor "Is Donny playing too loud?" She answered: "Heck no, he's got my feet atappin'!"

Sampled all of them. Like setting the needle down on a record.

Matt,
As highly as you are respected in these environs, your endorsement world put this duo 'over the top'.
They have won every imaginable competition in the UK. ( and most of Europe )
I only wanted my fellow BIABers to be aware of them. They have brought Corona-Relief to this cowboy for over a week of free concerts and new friendships formed.

Thanks Don. I do not play, nor even listen to, this genre. I only did so (sample the music) on your recommendation. I'm not the one to say anything about how well it's done.
Cheers.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
