What Floyd said...
I always look forward to hearing one from you, Tom! Love the power and integrity of your vocals. They always carry the message of what you sing across perfectly.
This is a good write, and like Floyd said, it is not only timely, but timeless as well. Can apply to many situations.
Very well done! (Love the steel, too)

Tom, One of the best songs I`ve heard inspired by current state of affairs. I really like the progression and sense of mystery created by those pedal steel tracks and the bass also sounds great ( is that you?) Good lyrics, sung with feeling; an excellent way to come back around here!
Robert Robert, I’m glad you stopped by. The bass is loops. Thanks for the kind words, Tom Wow, there's a lot of magic in there, Tom. Outstanding writing and an inspirational mix. That pedal steel is quite special. Now, excuse me while I go hear more of your stuff. Stay well --keep playing. Marty, when a song comes together the process is magical. That’s why I keep coming back to it. Thanks,Tom

Great song. That first verse is a killer. As others have said it has a haunting vibe - just the right amount of spooky. Love the pedal steel too. Cheers, Mike

Wow, great eerie feel to this. Yes, I get that post-apocalyptic feeling looking around, and you captured that well in a song. Great work!

This grabs straight from the first bar. The last chords of the intro lead to the touching melancholy mood. The lyrical content describes perfectly the current crisis, the questions it raises and the feelings it leaves in us. The selected instruments create an excellent balance between the melody and lyrics. Great vocals and catchy chorus.
I really like the ending, it reflects the title of the song and it sounds like a musical question mark, leaving the answer open, very bold and clever idea.
Janne Janne, Thanks for all that and for mentioning the ending. Tom Thank you David

Firstly, it's wonderful to see you post a new production!
Secondly, what a re-entry tune!
Man, that spooky steel adds so much...the touches that only you could put on your production.
All of the tracks including your fine vocals create an atmosphere that is almost ethereal yet, unfortunately, bounded in today's reality.
And, not surprisingly, the mix sounds terrific. Your knack for putting every track in the perfect place is unparalleled.
And great knack #2 is your ability to say so much without getting wordy or overwrought.
Superb Tom.

Thanks, I really appreciate your observations, Tom Tom
As Bud & Janice said superb.
Lovely steel guitar throughout - so atmospheric, wonderful vocal and a thoroughly engaging song from start to finish.
Yep superb!
Peter Thank you Peter. I,m glad you liked it, Tom Very cool! Great message. Good arrangement. I like the way your vocal cuts through. CM, thanks for stopping by and commenting,Tom

Hi Tom,
Great to see you back again.
A wonderful track - so atmospheric and the break-down at about 2.15 brought me out in goosebumps. Terrific arrangement.
I love lyrics which allow you to write your own meanings into them: very in-vogue during the sixties and this works on so many levels.
Excellent vocals and pedal as usual.
Going back for another listen.
Cheers, ROG.

Good to hear from you Tom. I hear you, summer down here in Florida looks like a bummer right now even though things seems to be opening up but still.... Great tune an lyrics. Interesting choice of instruments. The worked very well.
Best regards
Mike B. Mike, it’s going to be a bit strange here in SW Fl for a while. Hang in there. Thanks for your comments, Tom Hi Tom ...
What at real treat to hear a new one from you. And what a great way to make your comeback! That steel is so eerie but so perfect. The first verse and intro are great ear catchers ... hard not to listen after that!!!
There's a lot of "out of the box" thinking and tinkering with this ... and it all turned out as good as we expect from A Tom Adams song. Those expectations are pretty darned high and you never fail to meet, and usually exceed, what we anticipate when we click onto one of your songs.
Live is a little unusual these days and you've totally captured that aspect. Like it a lot!
Take care and be safe ...
Alan Alan, I always look forward to what you have to say. Thanks for all the support you’ve shown me over the years. My best to you and Di, Tom

Terrific song & performances. The only nit I can pick is that there's some sibilance that I, personally, would address.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
