I just recently installed BIAB 2020 pro upgrade on a new computer. So I had no previous BIAB installed on this latest computer. BIAB2020 works as expected. I also have listed (in my previous products purchased) Megapak 2018 and Everythingpak 2017. I'd like to add the 2018/17 products to the BIAB 2020. I've re-downloaded the 2018/17 products onto an external hard drive. But how do I install them to BIAB 2020? When i open up download manager it shows the 2020 products installed but no option to install the 2018/17 products. I've tried a few options but can't find the solution.
Also, will I be duplicating realtracks/drums with those past products from 2018/17. And if I purchase an upgrade (2020Megapak) will I be duplicating past products? Is there a list of products that I have on BIAB2020 and if so, where do I view them? Thanks in advance for any advice.

You may want to consider getting advice from PG Music Support. Generally you should install the older versions and add-ones, then newer ones in order leading up to 2020.
BIAB is massively cumulative except for Bonus Paks that have their own installers which you should save. All the installers are smart and will not overwrite a newer file with an older one. Many RealTracks have been revised in the last few years.
BIAB made a reorganization of where it keeps files within the /BB folder in 2018. The newer versions from then on have a Cleanup routine to make sure the files are in the correct places. But again, this was intended to work by installing older versions first.

Hello, I've re-downloaded the 2018/17 products onto an external hard drive. But how do I install them to BIAB 2020? Your 2017 package (EverythingPAK) has alot of content that you should install. Here is what you should do: 1. Run the Band-in-a-Box 2017 Program installer. Install it to your bb folder - don't worry about overwriting your 2020 version. Also, install the Songs and Lessons PAK and Bonus PAK. 2. Assuming you have all the files downloaded to a single folder on your external drive, find the file called "RealTracks Master Installer" (or similar) and run this. Let this run - it will take a while. 3. Finally, re-install the Band-in-a-Box and RealBand 2020 Program installer, followed by the latest Band-in-a-Box 2020 patch.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
