The very 1st syllable seems to coincide with a cymbal or something as well as essing which means it's gets lost. The vocal is surrounded by room reverb but that's fine given the setting -though it does need de-essing.
Lovely idea and well executed.

Very well executed. I agree with Ray about the de-essing. Re verb ia fine with me. Other that that I think is great.

All critical items addressed already. Love the feel of this and the execution and timing are just stellar. You've captured the vibe of a classy piano bar perfectly. I wish I was there now, with a glass in my hand and elegant companion at my side.
