Hi Folks.
Being a fan of Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle I got motivated to make my first attempt at Bluegrass.
Biab did all the heavy lifting and I just came along for the ride , but it was a fun ride!
I welcome any constructive criticism or suggestions how I could improve.
Thanks in advance for listening and here is

Come away with me

Really liked your choice and use of the BIAB components to get a sound that really moves and has energy. I enjoyed the entire track!

One element of feedback...the lead-in vocal wasn't as clear as it could be--I'd review that and perhaps take some of the effect off of it.

Gary,

Those BIAB Bluegrass Realtracks are always a good choice. Good choices.
The vocal could come up just slightly.

Hi Gary,

It's nice to hear something different once in a while. From what I've heard, there aren't too many songs here in the Bluegrass style. You've created a good one.
Thanks for posting it.

I agree. An excellent song but the vocals need to be a tad louder.

Super excellent use of those Bluegrass RTs!

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Thank you for your kind words Mario.
I have no confidence in my vocal ability hence I tend to bury them in the mix.
BTW I love your modus operandi of edgy music creation which is inspirational. Also I can relate to your amusing marriage observation ,very funny smile

Nice to hear some bluegrass (we played in traditional bluegrass bands for many, many years until drifting into Americana).

You made good use of the rhythm and solo versions of each instrument.

BTW, It’s fun with those bluegrass RT's is to mix them like a live BG band would sound working a couple of mics.

So welcome aboard and keep 'em coming!

Hi Gary
Good work putting this together, much enjoyed.
Nice to hear a bit of Aussie bluegrass. Reminded me a bit of the Rank Strangers, one of my favourite Australian bluegrass bands, active late 1980s/early 1990s. Worth checking out if you've not heard them (if you search 'Uluru by Gary Forrester and the Rank Strangers you'll come up with one of their best).
Regards,
Leon

Good song, sung well enough to raise the volume some. Nice work all the way around.
