I never know quite where to post this sort of thing so I will try it here again as this is where I put My Rusty Rhodes Kontakt instrument. This forum can get quite busy and it’s easy for things to get missed. Any thought on this?
My 3 Hapi Drum Kontakt instruments for you to download:
Hot on the heels of my Rusty Rhodes Piano Kontakt instruments. For those still following the plot, here are my 3 Hapi Drum Kontakt instruments. If you are not familiar with Hapi Drums just give it a Google or if you want to play a virtual one on Screen visit this site below.
The Hapi Drum is often made by cutting the top off an old Gas bottle and then Laser cutting tongues for precise tuning. For those without the skills or tools for this you can now buy commercial ones made from high quality Steel or even Titanium. Prices range from £40 on Amazon for a 13 tongue C major to £300 for some original 8 tongue major and minor pentatonic scaled ones. Like 2 I have done here.
The great thing about the pentatonic scaled ones is, any one can play, with no musical knowledge, as you can’t get a bad sounding note.
So as before, my Kontakt instruments will work in Kontakt 5 and up. Have uploaded to my boxnet for you as a Zip file. Here is the link to boxnet
Just unzip to your desktop or wherever you keep you Kontakt stuff. You will get 1 folder containing the 3 nki and 3 sub folders of samples. You will have to use file load in Kontakt as there is no library file. Or just drag the .nki file into Kontakt from it’s folder. Warning do not separate or move the sample folders from the nki files keep them together or you will get the samples not found error.
Just in case anyone is interested in these. I have uploaded a new version of these Kontakt instruments as the originals had some problems with the graphics for the control knobs after moving, or downloading to another Pc, due to me not including enough resources.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Have fun and let me know how you get on. Mike I Must watch those magic mushrooms!

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
