I really enjoyed this, and I watched it all the way through. I noticed some little variances in the repetitions, and I so admire your "chops"...I could never get through any piece of this length without totally flubbing it up!! Great work!

HI Peter, fingers seem to be settling very slowly so hopefully they'll get back to some king of normality before I get too old to lift the damned box up lol

Graham,
Lively with lots of zing and slither from those dancing fingers; concentration but no pain showing on your face.
I like your midnight inspirations!

I absolutely love this, Graham! I wouldn't it wobbly fingers, I called it flying fingers. You make it seem to effortless. I appreciate you making videos of your songs, so we can see you in action. Again, great song.

Graham,
Fun tune & live playing! Probably could make a child party dance tune. I do wish backing would be heard louder, but I do understand it is a live scenario. Thank you for sharing.

We both have arthritis in our hands and, man, that makes what you are doing even more amazing to us. You were all over that box and, as others have said, the fingers were flying!

Very cool to listen to and watch.

Kudos!

Very well played, Graham. As others have said, dancing and flying seem more fitting descriptions for those fingers than wobbly.

Fun tune!

As someone who couldn't memorize a tune to save his life, it's nice to see music being made the "old fashion" way. smile

Hello Graham,
I enjoyed your playing. It is a very catchy little tune. I was just mesmerized by the amount of skill you have moving your fingers. At times it looked as if you were playing the keys with the same motion someone plays the guitar. I ask knowing VERY little about the accordion, is this how you play it? I've been exposed to a lot of different aspects of music on here that I never have before. Thanks for posting it I enjoyed the listen...

For the Arthritis, have you tried turmeric or cumin? Black cherry juice also helps with mine.

Hi Bawb, I've no idea if I'm playing the accordion correctly or not, I taught myself to play. It seems to work for me.
I Use Turmeric capsules and they DO help. However, I'm got to get acupuncture therapy shortly, so hopefully this'll sort out the carpal tunnel syndrome first, then maybe the shaky hands. Thanks for taking the time to comment

Hi Graham - That was pure fun to listen to. That tune and your style took me back to some great memories of German music and dancing that we'd have at our local club before the pandemic hit. You called the song wobbly fingers, and I'm guessing they must feel that way, but you've lost nothing in the style and flair department! I hope things improve for you.

Hello Fury,

I really appreciated your dexterity on the accordion. The composition is nice and catchy. You really give life to this instrument which unfortunately no longer finds its place in this world which advances too quickly. well done.

Kindly regard

Hi David and thanks for the comment. I often HAVE to use the dots for my own tunes as Ican't remember them. That's why BIAB is such an amazing tool, if it wasn't for that I'd be stuffed

HI Graham ...

I've told you at least a dozen times that you are my very favorite accordion player ... over my 73 years! You do it so effortlessly ,,, like scratching an itch. Loved the song, the playing and the video. Your music always makes me either smile or feel the emotion. loved it!

Best to you & Kay. Please be safe ...

Alan

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
