Your mash-up works for me, Alan, this sounds great as do all the instrumentals I have heard you produce.
Enjoyed the listen! Howdy! Sure do appreciate that. You are much too kind. Wishing you the best. Be safe ... Alan

Hello Al-David,
Very attractive instrumental composition. The violin fits perfectly and gives it a pleasant charm. Well done

Hi Alan,
As you said, a real assortment of styles and genres, but one that works SO well.
An international sound too - I've heard stuff like this in the Scottish Highlands and also in France. Truly "un mélange".
Nice and cheerful as well, which is always welcome these days!
Take care, old friend and the best to Di. Hope the house is progressing.
ROG. HI ROG ... The song left me, also, with that cheerful feel, as you so kindly mentioned. I hadn't considered that it might have a greater reach than here. Thanks so much for the kind words. I'll pass your greeting on to Di. Wishing you the very best. Please be safe. Alan

Alan, Such a happy carefree swinging "melange " as someone aptly said. No-one does these all- Biab instrumentals better -loved it!

World music, kind of underground music you don't hear on the radio, but in a small smoke filled pub somewhere on the other side of the world. Or Jim Jarmusch type of indie movie. That's why this is a nice travel to real 'original' music free from commercial chains. Great selection of instruments and mix.
Janne Janne ... Thank you so much. I truly enjoyed your review. I never thought of it as an indie sound, but you might be right! Again, thanks so much. best to you. Be safe ... Alan

Your composition flows nicely---keeps moving to the next destination, keeping me interested all along the way. I was bouncing along in my chair as I listened. Love the instrumentation and the mix sounded good here. Hi Ez ... Thank you. I'm truly delighted you enjoyed your listen and that it "carried" to the end in good fashion. Wishing you the very best. Be safe ... Alan

I got a chuckle out of this song. It amazes me how you navigate all the genres so easily. Very cool guitar Hi Scott ... Glad the song amused you along the way. And I mean that in a sincere and positive way. Just about all genres of music have something good in them if performed well. I just let myself get carried away with whatever pops into my mind. Thanks a bunch! Best to you and please be safe ... Alan

Hi Alan,
A lot of nice things happen in your joyful song! I like how the violin glued it all so nicely and cheerful together. I only wonder how it would sound with vocals in it. I recal Di had such a nice voice. If only...
Thanks for the music, Alan and send my best wishes to Di, Hans Hi Hans ... And that is a very joyful review! Thank for the extremely nice comments. And yes, a nice Gypsy-style vocal would be a nice addition. I just don't know anyone who can do it! Best wishes and be safe ... Alan

Spice - is nice. Well done with the recombination...you chose well. Hello Ray ... Hope all is well down under. We're doing okay here in Alabama, for the most part. Thanks for the nice words. Sometimes I choose poorly for the tracks, sometimes it get it right. Glad this one works nicely. Thanks for letting me know. Best to you. Be safe ... Alan

Another truly excellent listen, Alan.
Your instrumentals are SO well done (I'm just gonna keep telling you that).
Even more amazed knowing now that you do this entirely in BIAB (without a DAW).
WOW.
fj
(best to Di!) Howdy, Floyd! I'm never sure how to reply to your comments when they are so nice and supportive. I hope a very sincere "Thank You!" works. Because you do humble me with your words. Best to you & yours. I'll give your greeting to Di. We both appreciate that. Alan

Thanks so much for your nice comments. Gypsy-style singers a re few and far between these days. But, yes that would be a nice addition. Best to you & yours. Be safe, my friend ... Alan

You are a testimony to how much can be done with BiaB alone. Amazing. Quite the mashup indeed. We were struck by how melodic that fiddle sounded especially not to be a solo RT. As Janice said, "It's a happy song!" Well done Al! J&B

Hi Al. Nice acoustic version. Funny how we think alike. I also have a song called "Nobody's Business". I just added the words "Ain't" and gave it an old Motown style. https://youtu.be/LdFFlnONFq4Keep posting Henry

I had listen to 3 or 4 prior to that one, but immediately decided on the one I chose after just 10 - 15 seconds of listening. Glad you liked it ... thanks for telling me. Take care and be safe ... I went over and listened to the link you provided ... terrific flashbacks as I listened! The MoTown sounds of the 60s and 70s are some of the best music I've ever listened to. The Temptations, Four Tops, Marvin Gayt, Sam Cook, etc. You really captured the sound! Again, thank you for your very nice comments! Best to you. Be safe, my friend ... Alan

I'm always amazed at how many awesome musicians are hidden in BiaB. You've done a really nice job finding them and getting them to play together well.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
