eric,

Nice jazzy backing tracks. Perfect for your guitar work.

You sure have that tone nailed down!

I hear a little Jeff Beck influence in this one - always a good thing!!

Enjoyed the listen.

Yep.... nice smoking tone on that. I can see those tubes glowing on this.

Nice work. passing tones are good. Most folks doing jazz miss those and it sounds awkward. You got it together nicely.

We've been fans for years.

You never disappoint.

We love how you can use your signature tone in varying genres.
And this jazzy/rock tune is no exception.

Nice listen and well done!

F.M.M.,

Instrumentals, particularly jazz instrumentals, typically aren’t my thing . . . but my listens last night and tonight to your tune are definitely opening my ears. This is really engaging, and the guitar playing is top notch. Kept my interest all the way through—as others note, the tone on that guitar is magnetic. Really well done piece!

My best to you,

Deej

Very good.
As a guitarist, I appreciate the great tone on that.
Blend of piano and guitar works well.
The introduction of the alto brings new life as it progresses.

Hi Eric,

I've been away from the forum for a while and only came back recently. It's great to see that you are still around creating excellent music. I love listening to you play the guitar. You really know how to make it sing.

Wonderful listening.

All the best,
Noel

Oh, you know it's a cool tone tastefully played when the crow's feet on the sides of my eyes dance uncontrollably. Love the feel and the changes on this, Eric. Some may say the alto has too much reverb or delay, but I love it just the way it is. Well done, man.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hi Eric,

Like Deej instrumentals are not really my cup of tea, but every now and then I want to listen to them.
Otherwise I can get stuck on my own island and I don't want that to happen.
And your song, and some songs of you I heard before, is very entertaining.
The solos from the leadguitar and the sax are very, very nice. It was pleasant listening to your song!

I thought Jeff Beck was more on rock, so I looked it up on internet to compare your style on the guitar with his.
Well... there is something to say it does. But beside that, your play is just very good even if you don't compare it!

I will come back more often now. You achieved that,
Hans

Your guitar has grabbed a hold of my ears. Smooth transition from your guitar to the RT sax solo. I would think that that would not be an easy thing to do effectively.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
