Hi, friends !

Sorry for having been away
due to several commitments
I haven´t been able to do anything
to, so ...but, I just got some time
to put together this little
jazzy tune due to the fact that
I felt blue as my dear was not
close to me !!!

The style is PRINCE.STY
and the instros are bass: 33, piano: 1, drums: jazzbrusheswaltz
polysyn: pad 91, strings 50,
Guitar: jazz electric guitar
Recorded with mixcraft 8 pro on my Lenovo with
focusrite 2i2 reverb and compressor used

COME TO ME MY DARLIN` (Words and music by Norman Wibe)

Someone, somewhere, something my dear
will bring you close, closer to me down here
and I´ll be waitin´, longin´for you
to take me out of the blue
´cause you´re the one, yes the only one
who can see me through

Anyway, noone my sweetest dear
but you can take away or lessen my fear
by your presence alone, always from dusk til dawn
I need you round me that´s how I´m drawn
that´s how I´m drawn

Solo

When can I see you again, let it be fast so fast
Oh please come, come my darlin´ at last
my darlin´

Wow Dani I have been away from this forum for quite a while until a few days ago, and seeing your song here, I just had to have a listen to it.

Great song, your voice sounding so smooth, I think you maybe have given up the surfin songs for the winter and now you are singing in a nice little jazz club.

Sounds great, all the best.

Hi Dani,

Have you been back to Spain in these harsh coronatimes?
If so, it did good. The result is a nice swinging song and a very deep low voice singing it.
I always thought you had a higher voice. What did you use to come this low. It sounds good!
So staying in Spain brings us more songs from you? I hope so. I will try it out within a week. Not Spain, but Mexico. Who knows how low my voice is then.

I listened through my headphones, but I can imagine it would sound great through the speakers. But at this time of day I fear I get an unwanted visit...

I enjoyed it, Dani
Hans

Love the feel of this track! You got the best out of the jazz waltz! What I liked most was the opening phrase that seems to climb that initial major scale...makes the melody just take off on the wind stream created by the tunes rhythm. Totally enjoyed it!

Hi Dani,

Smooth as silk.

Loved the relaxed vocal over the lively backing track.

Enjoyed.

Everyone agrees (and I concur) that this is a very special vocal. Really engages the listener, envelops the soul. And the arrangement is perfect. Could've been longer, my only ding. Great work!

Dani,

Always good to see you back.

Vocals SMOOTH as ever!

The jazzy side suits you! Keep it up! Interesting that you chose a MIDI style - the BIAB RealTrack Jazz styles and that smooth Dani jazz voice would make a great combination...

Stay safe, friend.

Your voice is good and strong in this register and communicates well.
I reckon you could do just a little trimming of some of the end sounds in phrases etc.
I think the backing is just a little light for that rich voice.

Cheers

Dani, I can't believe how wide a vocal range you have from song to song! It's a nice lively jazzy piece! Thanks for staying at it by continuing to post new music! Take care, T

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
