Loved the longing in your vocal, some great lines in the song (he's social distancing from six feet below), piano a little busy but not too bad, good sendup overall.

Thanks Scott C.
This was just a quick throw together for a block party, but folks seem to enjoy it. I guess we are all living the same challenges and we are all ready for a laugh!

Thanks Tune Monger!
This was just a quick throw together for a block party, so I just took what BIAB gave me on that piano. But it kinda sounds like a few piano players I have worked with over the years. In fact, it sounds BETTER than a few piano players I have worked with!

"Don't make me ask. Just put on your mask." A wonderfully lazy blues, with a finely crafted vocal.

What a tune! It's got some serious class, loved the instrumentation and the crooning vocals. Fun to listen to and got my toe tapping from the get go. Thanks for sharing

This is all sorts of cool. MOST impressive is the way you've blended you vocal with the pre reverbed BIAB tracks.

Forgive me! I try to answer every comment individually, but life happened.
The love is much appreciated, and man! do I ever it need it right now.
Regarding the reverb (there are questions): I export separate 'dry' tracks from BIAB. Then I use one reverb bus in Logic Pro X for everything. Abbey Road(-ish) EQ on reverb bus. For bad or for worse that is how I do things. NO REVERB on bass.
My audience is typically band mates who usually ask questions like, "Hey, you got anymore of that queso?" and couldn't care less about production settings. Gotta luv 'em.
If I can keep family out of hospital I'll get back to writing hit songs. Or just plain old how-I-see-it songs. Maybe some hanging-at-the-hospital-with-family songs. Writing is cathartic for me, and someday I'm going to look up that word and see what it means. But not today, I have to go to the hospital. With my mask on. Don't make me ask.
