I am trying to work with Rhodes sounds. If I load Cakewalk TTS-1 and load the Rhodes sound from there, I can use the TTS mixer panel to add chorus. However, if I load DSK Rhodez or 4Front Rhode, when I try to engage the chorus on the actual plugin it does not work. This kind of stuff just enrages me. Partly because I don't understand why, and partly because unless someone out there in PG Forumland as the exact plugin, exact interface, exact controller AND uses Real Band instead of the OG choice of BIAB, nobody can test it to see if it acts the same way for them. I even tried adding an effect into an effect slot, though I didn't expect that to work because I am asking an effect to work on MIDI input. I am pretty sure I could play 8 bars into RB and convert it to audio and the chorus would appear, but why the chorus built into the plugin doesn't work. On 2 out of 2 plugins. I don't remember if it ever did.
I am using the new 1040XTRAEZ form this year. It has just 2 lines.
1. How much did you make in 2023? 2. Send it to us.
Not much help to you but my DSK RhodeZ chorus (and reverb and flanger …) on the DSK GUI does work – at least here. Just like the TTS-1
I’m assuming you are using the DSK ROMpler version (i.e., the actual VSTi "DSK RhodeZ.dll" ) and not the SFZ, SF2, Kontakt, Sampletank, or FL Directwave version (I have them all).
Good Luck Larry

You'd be correct. I am going to remove it and reinstall a fresh copy. DLL files have a way to get corrupted.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
