Hans,
I barely found your tune! 4th page. Either time flies faster than I though it does or there is a wave of creative people coming in, which is a good thing. Hope you received a good dose of sun and tequila on your trip.

Your new tune is is excellent, for the reason that I believe it sounds sincere, judging by the drive and translation. Cool vocal doubling. Nice work in fusing acoustic and electronic instruments together. Mix is one of your best. Believe it or not, no complains this time smile Thank you for sharing.

As many have noted, we enjoy your Dutch singing a great deal. You supply lyrics so we have all we need to appreciate it. Very good song and lyrics, sung well! Keep it up!

I too enjoy hearing the song in Dutch; it conveys the emotion of the song without even needing to read the English translation. Excellent instrumentation, singing, and harmony.

Hi Scott, yes, I also think we can better have music than some other stuff that's going around. Thanks for your compliments!

In any language that is a very nice sentiment.

We just came inside from a walk in our forest looking at
fall leaves and this song is the first one we have
listened to. The woods were pretty as is this song.

We like everything about it. Your lead and harmonies vocals
are excellent as is the band and the mix. We, as you know,
love the blues but you turned this into something special
without the blues idea you began with.

We don't speak a syllable of Dutch but it is a lovely language
in sound.

Enjoyed it!

Hi Janice and Bud,

In a nutshell; a forest allways is nice, in whatever season you wander through it. I now just did the same as you (wandering through the woods), only I listened to another song I now made (in English). In that one I imagined I was a god looking at my creation (Earth). But back to this one, it has some autobiocrafic things in it and you picked out that one about the book. I had to smile for this reason and was thinking at the same time of something else; that John Lennon vocal. Have you heard it? Thanks for your nice comment!

Hans

Hi Misha, I thought you didn't like the song and kept silent. But I'm glad I had this wrong. And I am more than happy with your comment on it. Especially that you had no complains!
I agree with you there are more and more good musicians nowadays on the forum. Before you know it you are on page 10 or so. Very good you could find me. I still have to figure out how to do that. But thanks a lot for your comment!

Hi TuneMonger, as you also complimented me with me singing in Dutch I ask myself what to do now; continue singing in Dutch or in English as well? It's much easier making Dutch lyrics than English ones, but singing in Dutch is more difficult. Everyone is used to English songs and I sang them all my life (with or without mistakes). So my next song will be in Eglish again.../

Hello Ezekiel, it is a nice feeling and thought to know that people like to listen to your language and 'understood' the emotion. Like that, thanks!

I wish you all a nice weekend,
Hans

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
