A couple midi packs at $10/ea and the upright at $39 is just a no brainer to me! I start listening to these and the creative juice's start to flow. I know I have a habit of beating the drum pretty loud when I discover a tool I love. But this program writes midi to your chord charts as well as, or better than, BIAB and plays along with both BIAB and Reaper. People here need to know that.
But maybe I do need to dial it back a bit at times.

Well I already bought Dream Machine on sale last Black Friday on your recommendation. And I bought Grand Piano when it was on sale. I didn't really need yet another upright because I have KOMPLETE but I bought it anyway hoping it adds phrases and stuff beyond the samples. Haven't found any yet though.
I also bought the 4 MIDI packs currently on sale.
All in all, I am very happy with EZKeys!
I wish the interface would scale bigger on my large monitor.
I wish it included a MIDI editor so I could modify/personalize the phrases in the library.
I'd love to know more about using it in BIAB.
I'd also just love to hear from experienced users about how they use it in their songwriting. What is their workflow. Stuff like that.

OK, so I just agreed to doing a Zoom/Teams screen share to go through my workflow on my current project with another forum member. If you would like to sit in I am sure he would not mind and I can include you on the invite. Would like to do this in the weeks ahead before the end of year.
The full EZKeys with Upright piano for $39. It don't get any better than that.

Yes, it comes with some new phrases especially tailored to the upright. It does indicate that in the specs.
Thanks Mario! Where would I find these new phrases? I purchased the upright that is on sale now. And I already had Grand and Dream. Just curious to find what is new other than the upright samples.

That last item implies it does come with midi, however, I am not sure this is unique to the individual piano since I believe this is the just the content which comes with every EZKeys instrument.

I am using the new 1040XTRAEZ form this year. It has just 2 lines.

2: Can it be installed on a secondary drive (not C:) during installation?
Here is info on typical piano download sizes. Not really large by todays standards. Here is my major complaint with EZKeys - It is OLD. It does not have the features of the newer EZDrums or EZBass. It remains version 1 for the past decade? New midi packs have been released but the program itself is OLD. Don't get me wrong it does what it claims by not with the spit and polish of todays apps. I suspect it can be loaded anywhere, but when I tired to see where it was on my machine I simply could not find it.

I got everything they had on sale for $10.00 plus two other new midi packs at the standard $29.00. I have played with most of it. Very much worth the money. I have EZkeys,ezbass, ezdrummer. All of their products work well for me.
I am giving some thought too buying Toontrack Superior Drummer 3 Crossgrade from EZ Drummer 2.0 for $299.00, perhaps...not sure.
True Fire, which is a remarkable teaching program for guitar players is on sale for $99.00. I highly recommend this first for advanced guitar players and second for intermediate players, not so much for beginners. Normally cost around $230.00.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
