Hi there, I have been using bb since the nineties. I started collecting songs then. I also opened a website with many thousands of songs. People contributed to my collection and it became VERY large. The old timers here will remember. I deleted my website a few years ago. RHARV (Bob Harvey) suggested at the beta test for bb2021 (which, by the way, is GREAT!) that I should rerelease all my stuff. Therefore I have uploaded my collection for you to download. I ask that you don't overload the system by all going there at once. There are several categories: melody songs, no melody songs, midi files, real book, Christmas, music. Note that due to the size of the music, that folder has been separated into 5 downloads. Remember, a lot of this stuff is old. However, it is really helpful when you are looking for the melody or the chords. A lot of songs have lyrics as well. To give you an idea of numbers, there are over 8,000 songs in the melody songs zip. Some are better than others but I am sure that you will find some songs that you have been looking for. Hi Allanah,
I managed to DL your entire collection many years ago. I still have it and I still find it very useful.
I do have a question. Are the Christmas, Real Book, and MIDI folders new material or are they files extracted from the original A-Z song lists?

I believe it is working fine. I just tried it. The link takes you to the files and from there you can download them.
I believe you just right click on the zip you want and choose download. The music books is a folder with zips inside. The music books folder is 5Gb

I looked at them earlier today but did not download them. I just clicked on the like and now I get the message that they are no longer there. Looks like in the past 6 hours, they have been removed by someone.

I suspect the the download sharing limit has been exceeded.
I guess too many people jumped on too quickly.
In Googling about it, Microsoft seems a little elusive about what their limits are, whether a free or business account. But I know Dropbox has daily limits as well. I think My Dropbox paid for-account (I have 2TB storage allows for 200GB of download per day). Given that Allanah's total file size is 25GB, if OneDrive is similar, it's going to lock everyone out after 8 downloads.
Allanah can get to her files because it's her account; it's just not going to work for everyone else.

Given that Allanah's total file size is 25GB Hmmm, the total size of the 5 zip files I downloaded is only 40Mb.

Sorry, 5GB not 25 GB (as Allanah stated - the Music Books folder is 5GB; the 40MB is just change in comparison). My original point remains the same.

Notes Notes, if you do get them onto your site be very careful as some have the melodies in them and you know the "music police" will come down on you. IIRC they made her take down her site in the first place.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
