Sorry for the third song in quick succession posted on here. It seems I tend to work in bursts ... a few songs at once, then nothing for ages.

Anyway, here's my latest and probably (hopefully!) last one for a while now. Hope you enjoy and thank you for stopping by and listening and commenting - your feedback is always helpful and always welcome!

PRIORITY

A writer once wrote
That the most important thing in this world
Was not love

That sometimes some things take
Priority

What do you think? What do you see?

***

A reader once thought
That the most important thing in this world
Was indeed love

That sometimes certain things take
Priority ... and yet love

Remained his destiny ...

What do you feel?

***
In this world
Where we don't feel
Or come across
Anything real

Is love worth a try
For you and I
Or do some things
Come first in life?

What's on your mind?

***
Let me know,
So I may know
Which way to go ...

Let me know,
So I may see
Eternity

So I may know
If it is there
For you and me.

Or if other things
Take priority.

Nice write,
As I listened and read the lyrics, I was thinking this would be a great song for a big voice and personality like Barbara Streisand.

Beautiful message.

Lovely backtrack. Another excellent vocal. I agree with CaptainMoto. I think this could translate to a big vocal.

Very nice song. Love the lyrics. I think the voice suits the song perfectly. It has an intimate presence.

HI James ...

I've said this many times before but offer no apology for my redundancy: You are so good these spoken word songs. I always enjoy your work. You always pick the best backing tracks for your songs. A very provocative lyric that causes the listener to pause and think about what you just said. Another excellent track, my friend. Loved it!

Wishing you and yours the very best. Pleaese be safe ...

Alan

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
