I know I'm in for a treat when I see a new Tommyad post!! ALWAYS SOOOOO GOOD!!! Great song all around! Love the heavy snare sound throughout.....just the right sound and processing!! Some great lyrics throughout. Love this:

Back in the day
Before it all went to hell
We wrapped ourselves in love
And wore it so well

GREAT STUFF Tommy!! Take care. Greg

That is a terrific review. Thank you much,Tom

Marty, the thought of cigarettes never entered my mind. I, like many of us I’m sure have put that type of smoke far in the past. Although a good cigar does keep away the mosquitoes. As I recall she wasn’t a cigar smoker either. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate the comments coming from a fine musician as yourself, Tom

Gret big. Really well put-together country song and band. Extra-fine song-sized lyric delivered with flair. Really enjoyed this.

Tommy,

Magnetic from the start—really crisp, fulsome sound. Terrific write, great lines throughout—love that pre-chorus (both the writing, but also the melody that goes with—great lead in to the chorus). Nothing not to like here . . . just a really excellent country tune. Impressive tune.

All my best

Tommy,

This is powerful and great! Well done!

I remember my first girlfriend. I still smell smoke too, but I think it was a different kind of smoke.

smile

Merry Christmas.

You threw it all out there ...
Great vocals, write, instrumental performances and your always high production values with those RT's, loops and TA.

Cool to hear the mando in there too.

Janice wanted to single that out as it flowed so well...

Olfactory reminiscence is a powerful thing.
I woke from a dream yesterday with the smell of smoke in my head.
I blame you.
The pre chorus & chorus really work a treat building and lifting.
Ace Tommy, ace.

Cheers

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
