Sizzling and edgy. Bravo!!! (and yes, shades of Santana here and there, but the sound is all you. Well done!)

Sounds like you and I knew the same woman some years ago! Think I might have dated her when I lived in San Antonio! I agree with the previous comments about the eagles and Santana. I get the feel of Glenn Fry sat in with Carlos Santana's band. I'd pay to see that concert! And I'd pay to hear you in concert, too!

This song is so cool but yet hot - at the same time. Love your Tele licks and the raw passion and power in your vocal. Yeah ... sweet!

Best to you. Take care ...

Alan
Thank you Alan, your comments are always so thoughtful. I’ve been to Tx many times but never to San Antonio. I’m glad you liked it, Tom

Tom,
Excellent combination of styles. Latin flavor took this to another level. Ace guitar playing, sharp vocals and cool lyrics. Perfect recipe. Enjoyed it! Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

Hi Tom
Another cracking good song. Great vocal and guitar. And a lyric that rings true. I think most of us would have experience a cold front at some point (and might even have delivered one).
Regards,
Leon

Tommy,

Your tunes are always so well put together . . . crisp, clean and engaging right from the first note. Love the lyrics and the hook kills (great alliteration in that penultimate line)! Solo slays. Very impressive outing.

My humble regards,

Deej

The Latin flavour works really well with that arrangement.
It's a loud mix but that's fine - it suits it well.
Terrific vocal and guitar performances.
I did note, very early on, an ESS going a bit haywire but it didn't recur so I assume it was a oncer.
Excellent.

Cheers

Hey Torrey my Tele is a FSR Baja with custom shop pickups and the S-1 switching system. The 4 way switch gives a huge amount of tones. Also the Scuffham S-Gear amp sim is the best I’ve found. Thank you for your kind words and I will be looking forward to hearing it. I’ve been a Tele man since I was a teenager. Tom

Bob Seger meets Carlos Santana ... but ultimately all Tommyad!

Man, that Tele is SMOKING.

Great vocal and a killer lyric. You have a way of taking a common
love lost theme and presenting it in a fresh way -- quite the gift we say.

And as always the mix is a clinic in how to make it all work, i.e., the soundstage is perfect.

Worthy of many listens!

J&B

Love seeing you hanging around more often these days Tommy!!! Love the vibe of this song.....dark and gritty!!! Awesome guitar work and great vocal (sounds like you used a bit of distortion or saturation?). Another great tune!!! Take care. Greg

So good, Tommy. Guitar and vocal sound professional. I am a little envious of you lead guitar players; I've never developed that ability.

Awesome sound all around.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
