I have biab 2015 with windows 10. How can I insert a tempo mark with the 1/4 note = 140 at the start of the song? Any help would surely be appreciated. George
Sorry I don't remember back to what the 2015 version was like (heck I can scarcely remember last week! LOL). Are you wanting to have the tempo shown just in the main chord grid window? Or are you referring to showing it in the Notation / Leadsheet window, and printing it out?
Somewhere along the line BIAB introduced "Layers" where you can insert text right above the chords in the chord grid window.

Thanks Noel, That's the idea I'm looking for. I typed in: Tempo = 80. Is there a way to put in a quarter note symbol instead of the word? Can I edit the font to a smaller size? Thanks again for your help. It is surely appreciated. George

As far as I know, printing a quarter note is not possible. For what it's worth, I suggest entering "= 140", without quote marks and then use a black felt-tip pen to draw the quarter note before the "=" on the printout.
I even tried to copy/paste a quarter note symbol. It put the symbol in the "T" section just fine but, the print out showed: ? = 80. Don't know if there's a way to change the font to wingdings or Finale just for that symbol and use BIAB fort tghe = 80. George

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
