Well, after keeping a relatively tight lid for nearly a year, I contracted Covid.
This is not a call for pity, just want to share how I got it and what it feels like.
I was driving a person for several hours and I requested that a molecular Covid test (not the rapid test) is taken prior to trip. I saw negative test results with my own eyes. Turned out to be a false negative. That solved the mystery of how I got it.

What it feels like.
Three main symptoms that I expierence are body temperature fluctuations, muscle aches and dizziness. But the one I did not expect is chills... regardless of thermometer readings. I just feel cold most of the time.
I have placed a space heater by the bed, that helps. Hopefully it does not worsen and I can sit it out. Not taking any crazy pharma, just your average C-D-E & zinc some advil to take the edge out of muscle aches and to reduce fever and lots of liquids.

The moral of the story, don't rely on test results too much.

Hopefully this thing passes like a bad dream and I would be able to attend to my music and other hobbies.

stay safe.
Misha.

I'm wishing you the best Misha. As a few words of encouragement, most folks do get over it and recover completely.

Take care of yourself and keep us posted.

Misha I hope you recover rapidly.

We were under quarantine as our three kids got covid. All had the exact symptoms as you. All three recovered from the worst of it in about 4 days. But one son is on meds for sinus problems. Another is on meds for sinus and dizziness problems and my daughter is on a nebulizer as her asthma has gotten worse. All three are off quarantine but still not able to work. The doctors think they will be able to get back to work on the 15th.

I hope that doesn't scare you. I just wanted to let you know what might be coming. I hope you don't have any remaining symptoms.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi Misha,

I hope you get well soon. Keep track of your temperature. If you have an O2 monitor keep track of that. Any of that gets very far from normal, go see a doctor. Most people get over this without major issues but...this is a serious infection so be careful.

I have managed to not contract Covid-19 but six of my employees have. All recovered within three or four weeks.

There is no 100% effective test for Covid.

Best wishes,

Billy

Forum Friends,
Thank you for your support!!!

I guess it is to early to tell, but I do feel slightly better, at least I do not look at the ceiling for hours anymore and started to read a little... eyes still hurt smile

I am isolated in one room, with hot soup / tea delivery (by my wonderful wife) right to the door. A 5 star service!

P.S. Funny, some folks mentioned oximeter. We had one and today I received one as gift from my friend. He doesn't want it back, so now I got two. I wonder how close they are. Have to try them simultaneously.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
