Dear friends !
I have listened to my latest music posted on the site and I have come to the conclusion that my creativity as a songwriter as well as a performer as a singer has come to an end ! I recently broke my hip bone cup in a skiing accident and have been recuperating in hospital for a couple of weeks completely free from computers and that kind of stuff.
I am at home now but cannot weigh on my right leg until april 4 th at the earliest, so I am wheel-chairing around or using sticks as much as possible.
I have been listening to the latest of my production posted on the site and I´m not satisfied with the result. For this sake I will withdraw from posting on the site but I will probably be able to listen to your production every now or then as I also hope that you´ll keep composing and performing at the height of your abilities, something I´ve now reckoned I cannot do anymore!
All of you wonderful guys and guyettes will always stay in my mind forever ! I came to become very fond of you during all those incredible years we all got together and I even got to make music together with some of you wonderful people !
I will never forget that, and neither will I forget this absolutely superb software that made it so easy for an amateur like me to scribble down a piece of music ! For this and for all those years I had the pleasure of becoming ranked among the winners of the upgrades of this wonderful tool I am more than indebted to Peter Gannon and his more than superb crew !
From me to all of you:
Keep Safe and Take Care
Dani

Dani... Sorry about your troubles. Hmm, that is strange... I found your later offerings better than earlier I have heard. That is my opinion. In any case, I wish you a fast recovery, and perhaps when you heal, you will reconsider your relationship with writing music.
Kind regards, Misha.

I agree with Misha, your writing, and particularly your vocals, were constantly evolving and improving. I'm sure you'll return when the weight is on your hip and not your shoulders.

Sorry to see you go, Dani. Sorrier still to hear of your misfortune. Hope your recovery goes according to plan. All the best!
My music may not set the world on fire but if it causes a glow in just one person's heart, it has all been worthwhile

Dani, it's hard for any of us here to have the exact right words to say to you when we haven't experienced what you're going through. I like Ray and others have mentioned, thought your recent material sounded great! I personally hate to see you give up on producing your music. My hope for you first of all is that you have a speedy recovery and have a renewed passion for creating music again. You have been a great encouragement to me and many others here in support of our music and I want you to know that I appreciate that. Take care and I hope to continue seeing you around here! Torrey

Good luck. Maybe you'll be back with some songs? I've thought of hanging it up a million times but never drew that hard line. But, if you decide to end your hobby/art/craft, good luck. If you ever decide to come back, we'll be waiting for you (hopefully, unless I hang it up too ).

Terveisiä Dani There has never been an artist in the history of the world from Michelangelo to Brian Wilson who didn't think their work was Scheiße Haus ! We all spend long periods writing for the rubbish bin and we tend to be our own worst critic but that is a healthy motivation to move onwards and upwards. Personally I very much like your music or i wouldn't be bothered to write this. We are all unique so the complexity of your character means there will never be another Dani who can write a Dani song. Ever. That’s incredibly precious. You are in a Funk at the moment but it will pass as it always does.. Never say never. Why not use the oppertunity of your down time to write a special song to a very special person and then post it here. In anticipation Gary.

Sorry to hear of your accident Dani and wishing you a speedy recovery. You have been a favorite PG Music artist of mine here on the forum as long as I have been a member. I like the music you create and perform and hopefully as others have said, the injury is affecting your 'musical' mood and time will heal your wound and lift your spirits.
Take care,
Charlie

Here's to a full recovery Dani.
I have enjoyed your songs all the years you have posted on the forum, and I won't say goodbye to that because I know you will be back!
Some day soon when you are not in pain, you will wake up with a new nice melody and lyric in your head, And I am sure you will feel that you just have to record it with that nice smooth voice of yours.
And I will look forward to hearing it here on the forum.
Best regards for now.

Sorry to hear about your injury Dani. But no more surf tunes. Your songs playing when the wind was howling at -40 C brought warmth and sunshine to my day. I am sure you have a few more. Rest up and get well soon.

Dani, I`ve enjoyed your amazing vocals for a few years and though I get the "I`m done" feeling, I do hope you`ll reconsider and be back posting with your surf`s up style in better days.

Hi Dani ...
Di and I wish a full and speedy recovery from your skiing accident. Your music has been a blessing to this forum. You have an uncanny ability to write and sing about love and human emotion that is quite envious. Music is a strong hold on its creators and performers. Perhaps it will find its way back to you. That would be another blessing for the rest of us.
Take care of yourself and get well!
Alan & Di
