Hi all. I select this style. I click play. A diaglog box opens I cancel the diadlog box The style plays, but without the guitar. Play the demo in stylepicker and the guitar plays. I have update 827
what does the dialogue box say? usually they are there for a reason. maybe you are choosing a tempo that one of the realtracks isn't right for. tell us what the box says please
This might help figure this out...what package of BIAB are you using? You may have a package that doesn't contain this guitar track but the demo has it.
1. Audition the style in Stylepicker. No problem all 4 instruments play. 2. Select the style for a new song. No chords entered. 3. There is already a C in the first bar as normal 4. A diaglog box opens. The cursor in blue over *.ST2 at the bottom. The top bar is my drive etc. 5. Across the other side at the bottom is ST@ files. Under this Open. Cancel 6. Click open nothing happens. Click cancel the diaglog box disappears and the countdown starts 7. The Bass, Piano and Drums play but no guitar. 8. I just wasted $US 31.90 and downloaded Real Tracks 241 again thinking the guitar bit might be corrupted. 9. No luck 10 Any ideas??? Cheers

I followed your instructions up to item #4. That's where I get lost. I am not getting any indication of what you are seeing and I do not have a dialog box that is opening up at all.
1. After you perform item #2, does the dialog box open up by itself automatically with no intervention on your part? Item #3 is not an action item, just an observation on your part. Is there any action item you are performing between items 2 and 4? Ignore item #3 since, again, is it just your observation.
2. Did you do OPTIONS, RETURN TO FACTORY SETTING to see if that helps?
3. Did you run the Cleanup Routine under HELP-UTILITIES?
4. It would help to include a screen shot. The more detailed data you can provide, the easier it will be to come up with a solution. It's got my interest.
At this point in time, I have to say I am not seeing any problem at my end.
On item #8, I would call PGMUSIC and explain the problem. Since you are a registered user, they will work with you on this. If there is one thing I know about them, they do support their customers.
I've tried this style on my end, and everything works right for me. It would be best if you contact our tech support team, either through the live chat system (the green "Chat Now" button at the top of the page here) or by emailing support@pgmusic.com

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
