Hi All, Here's a simple little song. This is called Get Gone. Can’t get along With my dreams I lose my footing Fall off the beam I’m lost in the city On some avenue Without a name Without a clue So get gone baby Get gone baby Baby get gone Don’t want angels In my view I can see the lights They are tinted blue I’m looking for heartbreak To hold the line Buy some options Buy some time So get gone baby Get gone baby Baby get gone Can’t face the night With myself I like company Good for my health I’m closing my eyes On this memory foam Without you here Without you home So get gone baby Get gone baby Baby get gone So get gone baby Get gone baby Baby get gone So get gone baby Get gone baby Baby get gone All BIAB Tracks: 2474: Bass, Acoustic, Held Ev 085 2505: Piano, Electric, HeldChords 085 2914: Guitar, Acoustic, Fingerpicking Folky16thsBrent Ev16 085 832: Guitar, Electric, Rhythm, AltCountryMoody Ev 075 Loop: Chillout/Chillout_dimensions_145 RealDrums: PopPromiseEv16 a:Snare on 4, HiHat, b: Snare As always - thanks for listening! Bob...nice song all around...really like your use of BiaB...it sounds like a band got together and worked up the arrangement...that's what I love about BiaB...love the rasp and angst in the vocal (a little Rod Stewart perhaps)...very cool!

Nicely done, Bob. Loved the "join in" effect of the band as it all gelled underneath your character-filled vocal. Just enough of a lyric to make me curious about the back-story...like the first paragraph of a worth-it novel. Especially loved the long ending...building on that two-chord vamp and fading. That's the only way I can imagine it having ended.

You might call it a "simple little song" - in my world it is a big song... with a wonderful vocal performance and done as a great production!
Really, really well-done!

Good moody sound, and the vocals and lyrics to match.
Nicely done.

Bob,
Every time I hear one of your tunes, I’m so impressed with the sound and production. This one has all that and more. The write is stellar. The melody and vocal prosody is excellent. Wow, really cool tune. Loved it!
All my best,
Deej

Hi Bob, The minute the intro started, I was reminded of Dylan's, "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright". While your composition is completely different, the Dylan vibe was there. Another nice composition that's presented with pizzazz. I enjoyed this musical journey. Thank you All the best, Noel

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
