Bob, Yes, this is classic Robert Dean; spare production with great guitars, a repetition in the lyrics that hooks instantly ( I like the use of slang and streetwise words), and those gravelly vocals. Very, very good!
Good write, Bob. Dang, that I'ma... was a great idea. It flows right to the listener and makes him a participant. It's so catchy. The kind of phrase that stays with you long after the song ends. Wonderful vocal.
Man, there is more goodness in that 2 minutes than you'll hear in a lot of songs that are three times longer.
We definitely felt Lucinda's presence on this and Janice was singing along and doing the Lucinda "sway" at the mic Excellent vocal too.
You must pay those band members well because they NEVER fail to deliver. The mix is outstanding. We LOVE open/airy mixes. Yours are never cluttered or dense.

Great lines ... we know the feeling and share your stated way of getting over it.
Hi Bob 'Turned on the morning news, everything just blows'. Don't it just? Great band, mix and vocal. I like your style and as Peter commented, this is a prime example. Much enjoyed. Regards, Leon
Very good choice of realtracks which lends itself wonderfully to your composition. Your tone of voice is perfect compared to the sung lyrics. It is well done. I appreciated.
I love that bass. What a great choice for song's foundation. As with everything that you do, this has your signature all over it. (That's a good.) The write, the band, your arrangement and production radiate confidence and competence.
Good band...good mix too. There's a fair chunk of sibilant sound happening with s and t mainly. no one else mentioned it so it's probably just my over sensitivity. Cool though.
