does the program continue to work? i have had this occasionally and the program continued to work after a save. does your RB stop working? is there any common 'trigger' that causes the message?
have you tried a return to factory settings?
from your other posts you seem to be familiar with other DAWs - maybe using the BIAB plugin in another DAW may suit you better as a workflow although most of us don't have your problems with RB.
if you tell us a bit more about your set up there are so many experts here who can help.
why rb is better, supposedly, bec you can edit volumes, etc, at the exact bar you want, (DAW, you dont know what bar you are in, all you see are waveforms..
but these crashes and the "bug" on erasing the volume keyframe.. is killing me..

fill out a tech support form - you'll need to fill in details of your pc and sounds set up and maybe PG support can help. from the details you've given its impossible to suggest what might be going wrong.

Seems like you hid a clue in here. You are erasing 'volume keyframes' when it happens? What does that mean?
Also what DAW doesn't show you the bar lines? I'd like to avoid that one.
Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
