Can't believe I am back, but this program has had a big impact on my music. A little of this app appears in everything I do. It is now back on sale for the low price of $49. It reminds me a lot of BIAB in the way you can never really master the total content of what this program can do. It literally can hurt my head (in a good way ) thinking about what it is doing. Every use is a discovery. But if you have followed this thread, you already know that...
Riddle me this Batman, where were these genius insightful "Carnac the Great" like developers 30 years ago? OK fair is fair, how about even 10 years ago?

So I don't use RealBand so I can't give you a quick answer. Ir does work well in a standalone mode or with Reaper. If you need this info, get back to me and I will check it out for you.
Ya, I have appointed myself the forum notification board for Scaler 2. While the first track in my DAW template is reserved for BIAB-VST, the second track is reserved for Scaler 2.

I could have put this video in a number of places, but I chose here. I have always realized the significant overlap between BIAB and Scaler but this video is the best I have seen of someone attempting to build a song, ala BIAB, using Scaler. In reality a workflow which combines both BIAB and Scaler takes advantage of the best of both.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
