Good song sung well. Great work all the way around. Thanks, Tunemonger! Excellent choice of the cello, Ezekiel. That and the emotion in your vocal really tell the story the lyrics suggest. "Scattered fragments of love slowly disappear." Sadness is never so deep as when it can't be fixed. Marty, Thanks. I appreciate the comment about expressing the emotion vocally! Scott
Really nice song - beautifully sung - wonderful harmonies and lovely instrumental parts. (I'd be inclined to drop the volume of the guitar.)
Really excellent work.
Peter Thanks, Peter. I will have to listen to the mix again and tweak the guitar. Hi Ezekiel's Storm,
Beautiful suite of chords on which the piano and the cello bring a plus. Your voice is pleasant and lends itself well to the melody. Well done.
Kindly regard Derochette alias JaniJackFlash Derochette, I appreciate the kind feedback. I like the piano. Well written tune. Nice use of the band too. Great clear vocal recording. Good one. Thanks so much, JPT! EZ,
"Old photographs Tell the stories we want to still be true The images blur ‘Til I can’t see what was you"
Nice.
A good write.
(I think it's a good idea to switch to piano once in a while for writing...)
Good production. Really nice vocals and BGVs. Very good mix.
Sounds good.
fj Thanks for the listen and comments, Floyd. "It’s time to open our hearts To what’s deep inside We can’t hide anymore From these unspoken lies
Old photographs Tell the stories we want to still be true The images blur ‘Til I can’t see what was you"
To present an oft told sad scenario in such a fresh and richly imaged write is no small feat ... Well done! Most impressive.
And the emotive vocals, excellent band and fine mix nailed the feel. Sad but very engaging.
A really outstanding production.
J&B
Janice and Bud, thank you for the positive feedback!

Hi Ezekiel,
Always nice to hear a song from you, although the message in your lyrics isn't always a happy one. But I like this kind of 'tragedy' songs. It's a genuine 'Ezekiel song'. You don't use much instruments. I think that contributes to the sphere of your song: Modest and impressive at the same time.
As I said, I like it a lot, Hans

Scott, this is your best to date IMHO. Fantastic vocal! Outstanding lyics, this is my favorite line: "Old photographs Tell the stories we want to still be true"
The backing tracks and mix are spot on.
Outstanding song!
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi Ezekiel,
A great song cleverly put together.
A very emotive vocal delivery which nicely complemented the sadness of the lyrics.
A good mix and production.
Enjoyed.
ROG.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
