Bob,
Nice. A good write. Simple and effective.
Excellent production/arrangement. Excellent mix. You do a great job of using BIAB for a truly "signature sound". A studio-quality singer-songwriter sound... Excellent vocal.
Enjoyed several listens.
(only seen a couple of Greyhounds in the past decade! They used to be everywhere...)

Hello Robert,
I recognize your style right away. The moment I hear the vocals I say "Ah, Bob Dean"! A very nice song that I enjoyed a lot. It is what Floyd wrote: 'simple and effective'. But effective in many ways. compact lyrics, a straight melody and with the nice use of that Pedal Steel!
As I said, I enjoyed it a lot.
Hans

Excellent mix made even better with such a quality vocal performance. Good write, Bob. You make everything seem so easy.

Bob, this is such a great job making those Realtracks your own and "fitting" the song so well! Love the mix and the way the vocal is the primary focus of the song (as it should be). Another very good one from you! Thanks, Torrey

"I could see your shadowed smile In a single stream of light" Nice! Great job on the arrangement! I love how it builds. Mix is just top notch too, sounds fabulous through the 'phones. And of course that signature vocal sound you have Really good, Bob, listened a few times.

Bob, I loved how this started and the simplicity in the backing tracks that you have blended into one outstanding piece of music. Great vocal and lyrics also.
This is your best to date IMHO.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

You never fail to please. Lovely melodic song, sung in your very recognizable and entertaining way.
Really good.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
