Hi Floyd,
I read all the posts on this song first before listen to it. I thought, wow, you must have made a hell of a song. and then I listened...
And, yes! You made a hell of a song, man! You went up with your vocals and that was a great thing to do. Very nice indeed!
What more is there to say that has not already been said? Well..., how did you get her name? "call me" in lipstick on a seagrams bar coaster no name no number three x's and an o.
Enjoyed it a lot,
Hans

Not Classic Country. Or Classic Rock. Or Jazz. Or Polka. Impossible! Make some music, for godsakes. Geez.
BIAB is miracle software.
I never said it wasn't a good software ?
Call it what you want.
Do you mean your song !
Bit of respect for users/ subscribers looking for other things Floyd , bit under hand if you have something to say on the subject please do so on the original post , but not this way .
came to listen to your latest song , sorry can't comment on the song as i never listened to it!!!. your comments to me are a bit close to sarcasm again pretty much what i expect on this forum if i give a view !.
Never expected it from you though !!.
I said my piece...in the manner and the place that I felt was most appropriate. The music speaks for itself.

I call it a fine recording. Very clever theme. Great lyrics and storyline. Great melody lines. Outstanding use of the band. Top notch work here.
"BIAB is miracle software."
No doubt about it.

Hi Floyd,
This is a beauty!
You have put heaps of work into this song and it really pays dividends.
I particularly liked the changes in instrumentation throughout the song which kept me entertained from start to finish.
I also liked the chorus "Cowgirl Cinderella" and the repetition in the outro.
Great song.
Best Regards Nigel Thanks, Nigel! Very much appreciated....

I don't care what genre you place this song in this is another outstanding song from the virtuoso Floyd.
Great vocal, great lyrics, great everything.
You are a master at picking the right RTs, MIDI, and loops that highlight your vocals.
Another winner.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

FJ, Excellent theme and title! Pretty cool phrasing going on @ nice style fusion. Strong vocal performance. Mix and all, above my grade, even if there is something to be tweaked, it slips my ears. Harmony sounds very natural. Thank you for sharing.
Misha.
"Not Classic Country. Or Classic Rock. Or Jazz. Or Polka. Impossible!" LOL
P.S. A (talented) friend once said to me: If there is a drunken homeless performing Polka well, I will listen and dance to it. There is no bad music, there are musicians that can make it #it.
Thanks for your support, Misha...

Hi Floyd. Clever lyrics and excellent vocals, as always. Nice to see you shaking it up a little. I like this one a lot and see no need to affix a label. Regards, Leon

This is exceptional lyric writing. Your lyrics are always good, but this is on another plane.
Different musical direction---sounds good. Is this the new modern country?

That was a treat - sounds like you had a lot of fun producing that one.
Wonderful use of all those differing elements.
Imaginative and entertaining.
Peter
Thanks, Peter. I'm always having fun... Loved the clever us of "slip" riffing off Cinderella's "slipper". And a few strangers just in case Ha! Sounds great on my headphones. Love the production - vocal here are great: facebook snapchat tik-tok twitter Delayed vocals and harmonies are a real treat for the ears. David - Thanks for the always careful listening!!...

That was AWESOME!! Man, what a great listen through the 'phones, so much going on. Pure ear candy! The acoustic that opens the song, is that the Ample Martin Lite? And if so, does it sound that good out of the box or did you need to add processing to it? And how do you program it? Man, I really need to learn about this stuff. EDIT: Too many questions, I'm over on their site now checking out the demos Love the handclaps, the way you bring in the heavy guitars, the delay fx on the vocals .... everything basically "Not Classic Country. Or Classic Rock. Or Jazz. Or Polka" Very true! Just very, very good music You blew me away with this one, floyd, nice! Thanks for all of that, Dave!! Yes, that is the free Ample Martin. And it DOES sound that good out of the box. It includes stomp boxes to modify the sound. I program it by hand in the piano roll of Studio One (not hard) - I included pictures of that when I used it previously (in "All Of Me")... Also used it in "Lovers' Secrets"... and will likely use it more in the future... Floyd,
So cool! Too many elements to mention make this a great song. Love it...
The vocal and mix is so crisp and clean - pro all the way.
Awesome use of the "claps and snaps" - infectious!
You never compromise on the quality and delivery of your music - you are an inspiration to all of us on this forum.
Bob
I really appreciate that, Bob....

Like that little yodel in your voice. It seem to solidify your desperation. Harmonies work well. What a great mix --the kind that we can listen to a hundred times and it always seems fresh, there's always something cool we might've missed. Right from the title this is exceptional. Cowgirl Cinderella. Instead of the glass slipper, she leaves a mysterious note. Instead of disappearing in a pumpkin, she vanishes like a Cheshire cat in a puff of smoke. Dang, you are a clever fellow, Floyd.
Categories are for organizing thought, and are never meant to be exclusive. Heck, even black and white have countless variations. Even the word music has some fuzzy parameters. One thing that remains a constant is your ability to make the best music, Floyd. - Thanks, Marty!! Always appreciated.. Hey Fj, Definitely not polka. Sounds great to me and love the production with that catchy beat and all the other goodies you've got thrown in there. Quite inspiring. Some mighty fine singing too. Josie Thanks, Josie!...

Hi Floyd,
Absolutely stunning track!!! Probably one of the best I've heard from you. I like a lot how you have implemented the different instruments and the way your mix turned out. Pro stuff!
Can't wait for the next song you make! High expectations here! ;-)

What a cool arrangement, fj! Mesmerizing. This has the Tyminski feel all over it, including the excellent vocals.
Janice was singing along almost immediately, commenting again on her love of your phrasing as well as the prosody of your lyric. As she said, "just listen to how well these words sing: searching for an angel with the devil in her eye!"
The imagery is so good that we felt like we were watching a video, seeing little glimpses of the girl here and there.
And always an outstanding mix!
Yep, BiaB is miracle software . . especially in the hands of someone with your talent.
Excellent!
J&B
P.S. We love the artwork too.

Fun song, Floyd. I was hooked by the guitar effect on the eight bar intro. You make it sound so easy !

Not Classic Country. Or Classic Rock. Or Jazz. Or Polka. Impossible! Make some music, for godsakes. Geez Floyd this put a grin on my face!
I love the way you explore the boundaries of BIAB and are not afraid to implement new sounds and techniques into your work! And by the way, when I try to do that sometimes it usually doesn't sound right, but you seem to make it work every time!
Once again your lyrics grab the listener and your vocal delivery holds that listener to stay with the song! Loved those echo effects, especially toward the end! Great job! Thanks, Torrey Hey Torrey, floyd is on vacation out west with spotty net coverage so on his behalf we are thanking you for your great review. Best to you! J&B

Hi floyd! When I heard this arrangement and its production, the first thing I thought of was... You raised the bar to Olympic heights with this presentation. It truly is remarkable, creative and entertaining. I love everything that you've done. Just awesome, Noel

Hi Floyd,
You've really blended a few of unusual elements together, by that I mean the Bass, Synth, CloudRapSub with the other instruments. It sounds unexpectedly good with the rest of your arrangement. As usual your vocals and other instruments played are great. Good sounding tune man!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
