Excellent, Chris. BiaB really shines in Jazz, and this is a terrific spotlight.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Chris, you did a fantastic job on this jazz song. PGMusic should showcase this when they advertise as it highlights the jazz side of BiaB.

Freelance jazz at its best.

Fantastic use of RTs!

Thanks Marty, Mario and Mike,
I've voluntarily lightened the rythm section to make the most of each track.

I really enjoyed this particular arrangement used. It sounds like something you'd hear at an upscale jazz club! Really great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Christian,

Terrific work on this . . that trumpet solo running throughout is so sweet. Makes you really appreciate the wonder that is BIAB . . . it sounds so real and spontaneous (blending so well into the alto sax). Great stuff!!!

Kindest regards,

Deej

Janice said this makes her want to watch the documentary on the Newport Jazz Festival again!

You did a masterful job with those BiaB tracks creating a great live feel of a fine band.

Enjoyed it!

Dear 'Chris37'...

It may have been composed in a minor key, but it swings in a major way! Your chord choices allow the Real Track instruments to blow such sophisticated lines that the musicians sound as though as they had to rehearse the piece to get such a sharp, sinuous sound out of it. The arrangement is tight and 'free'-feeling. I could imagine that I'm spinning a record made by the Blue Note label on a turntable. This is an excellent, skillfully composed jazz composition!

Cette musique de jazz sonne merveilleusement bien. C'était un très bon travail. Cela me rappelle aussi la France qui me manque beaucoup.

This jazz instrumental is also the starting point of a french song.
Patrick Fournerat has written the lyrics and he sings.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
