The st. Vincent model needs a different headstock. I mashed up something a couple years ago that I think fits the design better than the typical music man. My Epiphone Nighthawk Custom Reissue was originally designed by Gibson for Nancy Wilson supposedly, so I’m a fan of guitars that are not as bulky across the waist.

Oh this story took many twists and turns!
When I called them Sunday (They are in Virginia) the guy said it was not hanging on the used wall. He went into a manager's office and found it sitting on a chair. I said that I don't care where it was, I am buying it. It got here Wednesday. The ad said "This item includes a bag." There was no bag. I called them and told them that not sending me a bag COULD be considered bait and switch. I also told them the the tremolo bar was missing, and it's a likely assumption that the bar in in the bag. They assured me that if they did not find the bag and the bar they would buy them for me and send them along.
They called me yesterday to fill me in. They found the bag, and the trem bar was in it. It will be here Saturday. The manager shared with me that while trying to figure it out they spoke to every employee to ask not only why the bag was separated from the guitar but why the guitar was in the manager's office and not hanging on the used wall where it belonged.
It turns out that the guitar came to them Saturday at 4 as a trade in. The kid who took it in decided he wanted to buy it for himself so he hid it in the office so the public couldn't see it, betting that nobody would see it online Sunday and buy it (he was wrong), and he would have the cash Monday and buy it himself. And in stashing the guitar the bag got separated from it.
When he came clean to the manager that he had done that, the manager walked him to the break room to take his lunch out of the fridge, and then to the door, where he took his store ID badge and told him he needed to look for a job.

I smashed the hell out of my car today. When the cops came I told him "Officer, that guy was BOTH texting and drinking a beer." The cop said "Sir, he has every right to do that. I mean, it's HIS living room..."

Lost his job due to a trying to hold a guitar - that's pretty harsh. I think it was spot on. They are in business to make money by selling stuff. What a breach of business ethics that was. Consider what they went through to make it right with me. 4 phone calls, 2 people tearing the place apart looking for the bag, and with the internet being what it is, can you imagine the repercussions if I told that story in a public review? What might that do to their online sales when a piece advertised is made not available by a kid who may or may not be able to raise 500 bucks while the item is being hidden from the public? I probably would have walked him to the door AND eaten his lunch!!

Billy I'll see what I can do about a sound review once I get the bridge set up. Right now it looks like bad dental work. First "A&R" run through with a straight Fender model amp in my Line 6 said "This is a good guitar." The 5 way switching makes for a lot of tonal possibilities. Then add in a Line 6 Mini Pod and a modeling amp. The costume size 4XXXXtra Fat was out of stock.

Just thinking that many years ago I DID buy a French Maid costume as a gag gift for somebody. Then we stopped seeing each other and I never got to give that to her so it is still in a closet somewhere here. I wonder if THAT would suffice?

Eddie that was excellent!
Sounds exactly like me!
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.
